Spoons Bar & Grill

Stopped here for our first dinner in Paris. Didn’t know what to expect but wow, what a treat. First, the cocktails were balanced and delicious. We did the tasting menu and loved the adventure. Highlights were the hummus, chicken legs in curry, saffron rice, and tapioca pudding. Our server, Akhil, was a joy. He was so attentive, happy, and made the meal a party.
If you like Indian it is a must try. Me personally not a bit fan of Indian Cuisine because of the mixed spices and lots lots lots of onions and garlics, but this experience was good. Service and ambiance and music were really good we had noce disco music while we eat. Dishes are simple but really tasty my fav was chickpea mussel and crabcakw from the starters.
We went for a Sunday brunch, they serve indian food in a buffet style. The environment is super nice, the food very yummy. It’s open kitchen so you can see how your food is made. The experience was unique. Definitely recommended!
The shrimp was the highlight among 5 dishes we have tried. The rest was just ok. Staffs are friendly. I guess they have a clear organization. I did eye-contact with a staff in suit properly a manager „we are ready for order“ and didn’t get the response from him; however other staffs were friendly coming afterward. Anyway, generally too pricy.
Amazing place that will make you travel across the Silk Road, offering delicious food and a three star restaurant worth wine cave. Also the staff is incredibly welcoming, always looking after their customer, making sure they have a great time !
Very good choice of Michelin.Nice atmosphere, good DJ music ,delicious food with some Indian aftertaste and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Chef Ducasse had created an interesting concept with Spoon. Bold flavours, interesting decor, service acceptable. Had the three course plat du jour. Nice lemony spicy fish soup, tender lamb, although the vegetables did not resonate with me. Nice dessert, play on a donut.
Food was OK but pricey for the portion size/quality. No dish was a better version of what it's trying to replicate - the dosa filling particularly had very large and hard pieces of potato. Desserts were a bit of a joke at those prices. Lamb was cooked well. Service was slow and chaotic, including some shouting at each other across the room. Nice decor and pleasant enough atmosphere but wouldn't return as seemed poor value.
What a nice restaurant! We came there on a lunch date and we weren't disappointed. The staff was nice and kind, despite the fact that our baby was sort of fussy throughout the entire meal sorry about that, the waiters spoke English, which helped us communicate with the masks on, and the dishes were amazing. I loved the fig dessert that managed to combine black pepper in it, and still somehow be super-tasty first time ever I had a spicy dessert in my life. Great place to go!
Very good interior, kind and competent service, nice music that could be loud for some taste. The menu is a bit hectic - most of the dishes are Asian with some extra touch, that might be strange stuffed vine leaves with rice, lamb and sardine is amongst them. Be patient, cause the kitchen ain't quite fast even with the short menu they have. Interesting but overpriced wine selection with wines from many countries.
