I was there to get my sons haircut. He is 2 1/2 and I didn’t know how to describe what I wanted for him. I told her I didn’t want any trimmers used but just a little boys haircut and up to the neckline. I’m not sure what she was doing to start with, but it was starting to look absolutely horrible and choppy so she got help from the assistant manager and she seem to have a better idea and started doing what is called a “scissor cut”. As the assistant manager was cutting it the first lady sat and watched I’m guessing never cut a little boy hair before? and she kept insisting on using trimmers with a guard number eight. I said I don’t know what that means but I don’t want to use trimmers, again. I was starting to get frustrated by repeating myself. Like go grab another customer and shoo. At this point I had already been there for at least half an hour. First one was slow as molasses and now we’re on a second lady by the end of it all it was an hour we were there, and the haircut was subpar and kind of choppy probably not the best place for a little boys scissor cut. Please tell me who takes an hour to do this? The best part, I paid for the hair cut and then I said, if I leave a tip does the assistant manager get the tip? She looked a little befuddled I said “well she is the one that cut it.” so instead of leaving it on the credit card I tried to hit her cash I said, can you make sure she gets this? She refused to take my cash so then I had to wait longer so she can go walk to the back for some reason came back up front held out a box that had the ladies name on it so I can put a five dollar bill into this lady’s box, so thank you for wasting even more of my time simply because you didn’t want to touch my cash rude!
You can get here before they open and wait at the door to be first but 10 minutes the app lets you check in online and those people get to cut in front of you even though we were there first. When I confronted the person there I was told that’s the way it goes and “I just work here” I took myself and my sons to Supercuts right behind this place and they take first come first served. The three of us were regularly going to this SportsClips and had the above issue happen to us on two occasions. After the very poor service from the guy/girl we will never be back. They have a broken system and could care less.
I'm sitting in front of the store with 10 minutes until closing and was just denied a haircut by esmeralda! I rushed my son here for pictures and just got screwed. I pay for 12 cuts here a month for me and my kids.
The lady who cut my boyfriend's hair made it worse and cut the front part too short. It was just supposed to be a touch up from an already messed up cut and she charged full price even after she screwed up. She was quite rude as well. Will not go back here again.
I just walk in. I ask who knows how to do the haircut im looking for and they start pointing fingers and at the end the manager tells me to choose anybody and I choose her. And then she say to choose another person cus she have alot of stuff she have to do. Is nobody inside so I dont really understand why she say that. But I do know they lost another costumer. This place needs to be close for good if they dont start hiring better staff.

I’ve been a loyal customer for 8 years. My haircuts usually take no more than ten minutes. The store closes at 8 p.m. Today 11/02 I arrive at 7:40 and they tell me it’s closed. I said the sign says 8:00 and she responds “well it’s almost 8:00”. Then she continues to just sit down with the other stylist doing nothing. Horrible service.
I took my 2 yr old in for a quick cut, we usually strictly go to Tuneup but they didn’t open until later in the day. We seen Elaine and she was amazing with my son, very patient and kind. The cut looks great, it was a drastic change from a very long mullet to a super cute and clean boys cut. Highly recommend this location and Elaine!
I guess they let anybody cut hair now days the past 3 times I went there my hair got messed up
3rd time back, first time went home all uneven so i came back waiting and girl did good job fixing. But later noticed neck had long hair so went back to shave a 1 minute shave but no wait 1 hour for thier poor service.
