SPORTS - Sure there are lots of sports business programs out there. But none have the depth of experience and advantage of crossover exposure with national, college and Triple-A teams located steps from campus.
ARTS – The SAEM program builds on the strength of Point Park University’s nationally ranked Conservatory of Performing Arts – a perfect platform for training on the business side of this career path. Pittsburgh’s cultural district is just blocks away, offering students the opportunity to work in theatre, ballet, opera and dance performance. The Pittsburgh Playhouse, part of the University, offers hands on experience in running dance, theater and musical productions.
ENTERTAINMENT – You’ll learn the broad spectrum business models of content monetization in music, movies, and media. The SAEM program will educate you in the development of talent and venues and ultimately the monetization of the content created from them. Pioneer Records, the student run recording label, offers immersion into the music business. Our partner Stage AE is a learning laboratory for concert production.
