We are a local sports bar just south of Atlanta, in Jonesboro. In this city, we have been serving delicious wings since 1993! But I cant lie, it has not always been this good. With great feedback from our customers, we perfected parts of the menu that were incomplete. We proudly introduce our best seller WINGS & RICE! This was a nice spot it had been a long time that I have visited sports Cafe so when I came back this past Friday and saw the renovations I was blown away. The food was great my hubby had wings and fries that were cooked well. I had the Fried Shrimp plate with the shrimp tossed in Buffalo sauce along with fries it came with a salad and bread everything was good the drinks were great the waitress kept coming back and checking on us. The DJ had it lit great vibes for a Friday night.

UPDATE: Still a great place to get seafood and drinks. Went recently and still above par for a sports bar. A must try for anyone wanting good food and drinks, plus live music on certain days and many screens. Wife wanted something different, as usual, so surfing around we spotted this place. Turns out that it is some of the best seafood we've had, but it's not a seafood place. It's a sports bar, and the drinks are well made, you get your money's worth... Their menu is very low key, you'd expect an assortment of appetizers at a sports bar, but you'd be fooled. They have crab legs, shrimp, THE BEST CAFE HOUSE SPECIAL fried rice! Get it, you will be thrilled. We order it all the time. Prices are good too. Screens everywhere for sports shows and a pool table area. Dining areas and a bar area. Music is good too. We've been back numerous times and ordered to go. Service is good and they will be sure you have what you need.

I sat at the bar and the bartender acted like she didn’t want to take car of my friend and I. My friend found a hair in her food and the bartender proceeded to yell across the restaurant “do you want another one if not the manager will take it off”. She was treated us as if she didn’t need our clientele or if we didn’t tip well but we are both bartenders so we take care of who take care of us. The tip she got she really didn’t deserve but that was the first time she showed us some appreciation other than just her regulars. She treated everyone better than us and was rude and it wasn’t appreciated. Definitely would never recommend!!
Food was brought to my table on time.. was fast, didn't even have chance to eat my steak egg rolls lol, meal was on point, the drinks and waitress were nice.... hope they keep the same chefs....also my steak was juicy and well season.....good job guys!!...will come again.
Omg my most favorite place to visit in the southside. Great food music and fun vibes. You can play pool, watch the game, or just kick back and enjoy the music over a nice drink and meal.
First time back in a few year's. Placed a to go order, 10 garlic parm wings and fried rice. There was no seasoning or flavor, it was just cooked food. The garlic parm had a lot of either grease or butter with parmesan cheese I'm guessing in the bottom of the plate, not on the wings with no taste. The rice was clumped up. I couldn't even eat my food until later that night because I didn't get any sauces, utensils or napkins and the server was tipped very well. I understand the price increase but at least season the food and prepare to go plates accordingly. I should be able to eat my food when I pick it up instead waiting until I get somewhere to find a fork, napkins and sauce. Food and gas is to expensive to be wasted.
I usually hit up the Sports Cafe when I want some lemon pepper wings and fried rice, but the other night, I felt for a cheeseburger and let me tell, you… do yourself the favor….that burger was bangin!! My daughter picked up our order and brought it home to me and yes, the fried were still hot n crispy!! Sometimes the fried rice is little greasy and I they’re a tap pricey compared to some other places but there IS some reason we keep going back to that Sports Cafe on Tara
