My experience with Sports Med and Nurse Practitioner Amber Mitchell was fantastic! She takes the time to listen to her patients. She's knowledgeable and compassionate. I was seen quickly and efficiently. This office knows how to get things done. No excessive waiting and very friendly staff. Amber gave professional care with a friendly smile. She truly loves her patients!
I was very impressed with the care I received at my appointment with Dr. McDonald’s office. His staff was very professional yet, friendly and kind. He was down to earth and had a great bed side manner. He was very reassuring about my surgery. He kept in mind that I am diabetic, so he is working it out where I won’t have to have my little toe worked on. That is nice. It’s one less thing I have to worry about. He also reassured me about the pain involved. All in all, I was very happy with Dr. McDonald, his staff, and SportsMed.
I was seeing Dr. Sykes for a foot problem. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. The ladies at the check in counter were friendly and polite. They checked me in and I paid my copay. I was seated in the spacious waiting area. I was called back within five minutes. The nurse took me directly to x-ray and efficiently completed three views. I was taken into an examination room and the doctor arrived within minutes. I was thoroughly examined by Dr. Sykes. He explained my injury and treatment. I was relieved that my foot was not broken. I was finished with my appointment and back in my vehicle within 30 minutes of my appointment time. All of my questions were answered and I was clear on my treatment and expectations for recovery.
Could not ask for more efficient and timely care by Nurse Practitioner, Tonya. She takes her time to listen to my concerns and is very careful in her assessment before advising treatment if needed. She is very knowledgeable in her area of expertise, making one feel very confident at and ease when being treated by her. Highly recommend this practice under Dr Walker.
I've always had a positive experience with Natalie. She is very professional, helpful and has really impressed me while making an impact in my overall health. I want to thank her for her patience while listening to my health issues. She is a great asset to this practice.
Dr Walker and Tonya were very nice, interested in what I had to say, and took their time explaining, in terms I could easily understand, their thoughts on my problem. I was referred to Dr Walker for another opinion after my hand surgery wasn’t healing the way my orthopedic surgeon had anticipated. Unlike some physicians, Dr Walker did not recommend any treatment or more surgery, he said that right now he felt I was doing what I should and no other treatment was needed at this time. No money gouging from him at all.
I have been coming to Sportsmed for years for various reasons. Dr. Jansen and his team are the best team of doctors and nurses I have ever seen. They listen, give you straight up answers, go over the pros and cons of your options. Chase is a great NP. Just like Dr. Jansen. he puts you first. All of his team is very professional, kind, and always ready to help. As long as Dr. Jansen is in practice, I will never go to another doctor.
Excellent care: Dr. McDonald listened to my concerns, did a thorough examination of my feet, explained my condition and options for treatment. He was helpful with ideas for long-term at home care to keep my condition from returning. I am walking pain-free and hope to remain so.
I have been getting knee injections for six years. Chase is the second person that has given me my shots. He does a great job. They are uncomfortable but not painful. He is knowledgeable and professional.
Dr Jansen and his Team are the best. Courteous and friendly and they don't rush you into surgery until you are ready. Chase is great! I feel I'm in the best of hands with this team
