Soap and Suds on Denbigh Blvd is so so. The staff is nice however dryer 26 does not work well,the drum is very rumbly and the door keeps popping open. I put my clothes in to dry and the door kept popping open dropping my clothes on the floor in the process, this happened 3 times. I told the staff working that the door keeps popping open and I would like a refund so I can use another dryer. I was told nothing is wrong with the dryer and that I put many clothes in it. I wash the same load of clothes he's very week and have never had this problem. If a dryer door keeps popping open there is a problem. Cheap owner refusing to give back money that I was going to spend I. Your establishment anyways. Not acceptable. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have had trouble with an appliance at this location and nothing is done about it. Unfortunately this is close to my home. Please stay away from dryer 26. The picture shows the amount of clothes in the dryer that is causing it to pop open. It is a few socks and shirts.
*Update: 07/16/2021 If you are washing at this location. The small washers are $3.61 The large washer is $6.99 and the dryers are$0.65. *Update: 07/27/2020 - I have washed today. I didn't know employees can have friends to chat and laugh it up with while on the clock. Highly unprofessional. Lack of customer service skills. Probably, it'll be my first and last time washing here. It went down the toliet quickly when Ms. Brenda left. She ran that place like a ship. I hope she come back soon. *Update: 09/04/18 - the employee is very concerned on how i wash my clothes. I want her to mind her own business and let me wash. Now if i was stuffing the washer with alot of clothes. Then yes it would be a concern but that's not the case. I accidentally ask if a woman worked there. I hope that she accepted my aplogies. The employee finally came out. I told her my card dont work. She inserted into the machine. "Card not Found". Ive told her that I used my card at another location. "Some cards works and some don't. So I just left. I dont understand why can't I use my card in different locations. Don't tell me i have to buy another card and I have money on that card I own. They need to change to change that. Anywho, the location is cleaned. UPDATE 12/26/21 Yeah, I think I'm going to wash & dry somewhere else. This is getting out of hand. The attendant is rude. I thought you suppose to clean the washers and dryers before someone uses it and afterwards.Instead, you wipe down the machines while I'm still using it and not wipe any other machines else that other people are using.Also, there's a woman with glasses taking pictures of people. If I see any photos of me and my child online, I have her license plate information. Just be careful. **Unfortunately, this Soaps-N-Suds is near me. The new girl in the morning is rude.
Card system is stupid and stressful. Didn’t get to do my laundry. Do not recommend.
First time ever going to a laundromat. Price was fine in my opinion but the Dryers made my items stink worse than when I brought them to wash them. Wont be going back kind of a waste of money if you’re tryna wash your clothes and have them smell good.
Not too familiar with the laundry mat these days. Don’t judge me lol. The woman working there was very helpful. She gave me great advice far as which washers to use and she actually had time to help me load my clothes in the car. I bought her lunch‍
The attendant was helpful. Do not like you have to purchase a card and put money on there. Drier needs two 10 minutes cycles to dry clothes. Also expensive. Place is clean.
It's an easy in and out. There's never really a crowd. It's nice that an attendant is there in case you need something. Plus, they use cards so you don't have to handle a bunch of quarters. They only lost a star because the top of the machines where you put detergent in have a bunch of mold under the covers. It's kind of gross.
I had a reusable card with funds on it. The card was defective. I couldn't get a replacement card, nor could I purchase a new, the machine was down. Other side of this coin. The facility was clean and well maintained. I tried my luck again today. Eureka, sucess!!!!
Came in this evening to wash clothes been coming to this soap n suds for years and at the current time it is 8pm .... I am unable to wash my clothes in the machines I use because the employee has shut down half of the machines. When I asked to use a particular machine because of the amount of clothes I have still her response was the back of the business is closed she did not provide any reason she was very rude so I had to go to another laundry mat . How is it convenient to customers to close half the machines majority or machines she closed down where the medium ones and recommended I use a bigger one up front which was too big an cost more money. I will not be back
Very friendly and professional attendant. This place is kept pretty clean I must say. I'll definitely go back if I need to.
