While the theater provides a great audio/viewing experience from a technical perspective, the admin has created the most inhospitable environment -- ushers seem to have been trained to "catch you." I've never experienced such power-tripping in ensuring tickets and seats. When saving seats for a mom next to me, the usher said "well, I'll be back to check." When I bought a ticket to my own show after dancing, apparently there was an arbitrary policy about someone joining the audience even with an over-priced ticket. Admin sounds a little too aggressive in regulating. Calm down, everyone... we're adjacent to the community center in Rohnert Park. This isn't Madison Square Gardens... should someone manage to sneak in, I'm sure the world will still turn. PS- refill the soap before performances. Gross.
Large parking lot, walk away from the road to find the entrance. You will pass a sculpture. The theater has large glass windows. The box office is inside. "Will call" is a table beside the box office. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase.
I went to see my granddaughter's ballet Christmas program. Always excellent. The Spreckels Performance Center is easy to get to and plenty of parking. I have been going there for many years and I have always enjoyed my time there.
Petaluma ballet nutcracker was phenomenal experience at a very comfortable and convenient facility. Management came up to me pre-show concerned about our seats view of the stage and offered to reseat. A lovely experience overall.
A beautiful theater. Came from southern California to see my granddaughters performance. She was great, as well as the venue.
I saw the performance of Motion in Pictures last weekend, and I must say it was truly spectacular! Such great vibes!!
Excellent venue ... two performing spaces...comfortable seating ... good sight lines for all seats.
This is such a cute theatres that provide a more cozy and intimate experience because the seating is limited to three of four rows. Being a local production and very small theatre, you might walk in prepared for an amateur show, I must say that I expected that. What I found was far and away, wonderful production with a professional cast to rival the big cities like SF and LA. In this case, less being more Spartan stage setting, with a small cast, was so much more!
I went to see South Pacific here last Sunday. The sets were nice and because of the relatively small theater every seat has a good view. During the break the line to the ladies room was a bit problematic as the line was pretty long. It's easy to get to and has ample, easy parking.
Spreckels is an exceptional theater showcasing live performances of all types. With excellent seating, a large comfortable lobby and plenty of parking, this performing arts center is the best in Sonoma county. I am always amazed at the variety of performances here, and can count on a memorable experience when I see something.
