Spring canyon Park is a great outdoor area in Fort Collins! This park has a little bit of everything; basketball courts, tennis courts, multiple playgrounds, bathrooms, water, fountains, open grass area, soccer fields, and tennis courts. That's s just the name what I saw today. There is also a paved walking trail in the park. The park is nestled up against horsetooth reservoir, so you get a nice view of horse tooth while you're there. Dog-friendliness: Park is dog friendly, just make sure you have them on a leash and clean up after your pet.
Spring Canyon park is still one Fort Collins newest and most fun places to take you kids. HUGE playground with dozens of features, splash park, shelters, skate park, dog park, and virtually every sport activity available here. For me, this is my parking spot when going on bike rides with Spring Creek trail running right through with close connections to Foothills Trail and Fossil Creek trail. Ample parking, lots of open space. This is Fort Collins' best public space. Playground: There are over 50 different attractions including slides, bridges, and swings. There is also a young child playground adjacent. Restrooms: City-maintained facilities. No gender-neutral options. Dog-friendliness: Fully enclosed dog park available including tunnels and slopes. Picnic area: Multiple picnic shelters and open tables. Some shelters can be confirmed with a reservation through the city recreation office.
Great large park. Has slides for little toddlers and bigger kids. Different age playgrounds. Lot of running space. Has a splash pad in the summer. Water is pretty cold. Has a simple nice trail that you can take kid on stroller before going to playground if you wanted to get in a walk for yourself first. Pretty mountain views in the background.
Beautiful setting and something for every age. Playground is fantastic! Wonderful green space. Restrooms are available and decent.
Not a small playground, fun to play in for all ages. Wheelchair friendly! Even has a splash zone for hot days
An A+ park, probably one of the best in Fort Collins next to Lee Martinez. The younger kid playground is fantastic and the older kid area is quite extensive. The splash pad is quite nice, but is in need of more benches. Overall, a great park. Playground: Two playgrounds, one for younger kids and one for older kids. The older kid playground is an odd design that features a raised playground, which I think is to make it more accessible.
Spring Canyon Park has everything a park needs to be great, and there is plenty of parking. I saw volleyball, tennis courts, basketball, a skatepark, pavilions for rentals, a splash pad, a playground, trails, and bathrooms. We went to check out the splash pad. There are plenty of shady areas and the kids had so much fun for free!
I'm from Virginia & Spring Canyon Park is a wonderful family park/ playground with spectacular mountain views. It has multiple playgrounds, splash pads, bathrooms & covered picnic tables & shaded areas.
This place is so neat! What a beautiful environment. The grounds were excellently cared for. Fun, clean, spacious. Even the bathrooms were well maintained. The water features were really nice
The paved bike trail is wonderful. It connects to other trails, and the trails consistently go under major streets, allowing for a continuous ride. This is a very large park with lots of amenities, most of which I have yet to explore.
