I love the Round Table. They have a burger called the South Of The Border burger that is so good I crave it on a regular basis. One of my favorite spots to eat locally.
This is a great place to eat any meal! The husband, and wife owners in addition to their children that work there, and all of their employees always strive to make your visit as pleasant as possible. The food is excellent. I highly recommend this business. Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of high chairs for children. They often allow children to draw pictures. You often see pictures posted on their walls, that have been drawn and or colored by children! Their staff does an excellent job in helping all patrons, receive great food, a great environment! Parking: There is parking available directly in front of the business and the back of the building. There is very good lighting on the parking lots. There is ample parking to take care of their restaurant when all the seats are filled. There is additional parking on the left side of the building if needed in the evenings. Wheelchair accessibility: Their building is wheelchair accessible, front and back doors!
My son and I enjoyed our dinner tonight. It was the turkey & dressing special and it was very tasty! Service was quick, friendly, attentive and prompt! If you haven't been, I recommend! Parking: Ample parking.
From out of town, looking for mom n pop place. They were open at 630 pm. That's was the good part. Simple question about the food turned into a mockery. Fine, the waitress may have been tired but don't mock me. Would not recommend. Sorry, El Mexcal down the road turned out to be amazing!!!Food: 1/5
More like 4.5 stars. I had chicken and dumpling soup and a reuben, which were both very good and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely come back.Food: 4/5
Overpriced, stingy portions, rude Hillbilly servers and the food is terrible. I heard the waitresses making fun of a customer - very rude. Meatloaf and gravy was worse than grade school cafeteria food. I visit the Alton area, from St Louis, for business each week. I will never visit this dump again.
Great service. Chicken salad in pineapple was under par. Chicken salad was too spicy and pineapple was hard. Cottage cheese was warm. Everything else was really good.
It's a pretty popular place to eat but the food is wonderful! They have a wonderful selection of food on the menu, it's a great place to go for real!Food: 5/5
Nice little family dinner. Food was pretty good. Fried chicken seemed a little under cooked and the mashed potatoes had a few pretty large chunks of potato, but other than that it was good. The prime rib, meatloaf, and chicken fried steak were very excellent. Also, our server, Brook, dud a great job.
Great find, we were camping at Pere Marquette, drove into Alton for the good gas prices. Simple place, but clean and well run, I'm not a big coffee drinker but they've got a good brand there thats good stuff. The staff works well together, waitress was quick an nice, cooks fast an got it right. Lady at the register very nice as well. Regret I passed on the pie case, it won't happen again, we'll be back. Can I get the brand name for your coffee?? Thanx, we enjoyed!
