My only regret is not getting more pictures! These are some of the best pastries I have tasted! Until our recent visit with family in WV, I had never been to SHPS. Once we arrived, my Uncle David told me that he loved their Hot Dogs. What a funny thought, a pastry shop selling Hot Dogs? But he laughed and told me about these fascinating "Hot Dogs". In our 4 day stay, I managed to try these, the Creme-filled Brownies, Chocolate Covered Buttercream Icing Cupcakes, Lemon Meringue Pie, and their Donuts. Btw, the Hot Dogs are pictured, a hot dog shaped pastry with a delicious cream icing throughout the middle sprinkled with powdered sugar. Spring Hill, you rock the Charleston, WV area! My Mom brought goodies home to SC for us; needless to say, they did not have an extended stay! If we lived closer, I would have a difficult time not indulging in a daily treat! Two thumbs way up for Spring Hill Pastry Shop; you do WV proud! *my favorites were the Hot Dogs, Creme-filled Brownies, and the Chocolate Covered Buttercream Icing Cupcakes*

Ordered a snowball cake on Wednesday for Saturday 1130 pickup. It wasn't ready so we agreed to come back at 5. It was a disaster. We got a 2 layer coconut cake with the icing sliding off. One whole side is a total mud slide. $48 for a mess. We now have a sad upset birthday child who has a disaster for a cake. What a horrible thing to do to people. We had 2 orders for 2 different days. Certainly will cancel next week's order

Absolutely delicious! The made a beautiful custom cake for my kid’s birthday and it was just what I asked for and oh so yummy! We also grabbed some donuts because why not? while we picked up the cake. It was like a Boston cream from Dunkin’ but better, which I didn’t think was possible. Customer service was great, price was reasonable. Would definitely order from there again.

Great cakes and prices aren’t too much. Overall a good bakery to choose. We’ve been happy with it so far a few times and family and friends were happy with everything we got.

We heard and read about this bakery and their famous "hot dog" donuts. Don't worry, no hot dog which I hate, just a fresh soft damn good donut with a whipped cream type filling. We come from an area that is known for mom n pop donut shops and have not found any to even compare with the donuts from our home town in the Midwest. Well... We finally found it. May be the best donuts we've ever had! Even my husband who is not a sweets eater loved them. The freshness level is beyond crazy, melt in your mouth fresh! We tried a variety of a couple options, as you see in the picture, and I can truly say each was just as good as the one before. Wishing we bought more but thankful we didn't because we would have shoveled it all down! Well done Spring Hill Pastry, you went above my expectations and standards for a great donut. Also- If there is a line to order don't worry- it goes fast but even if it didn't it's worth the wait!

They did my daughter's 1st birthday cakes they looked great and were delicious

This place was hoppin & they had plenty of staff to get people in & out. A wide variety of pastries, cupcakes, desserts, cakes, etc. Some had fancy names that I won't try & spell! Just go & hand them your money!

First time at this bakery, on the advice of a friend. The shop was busy well staffed and all the items looked delicious. Cakes, pies and pastry so many choices. The lady who waited on was friendly and helpful. I purchased four eclairs. They were delicious. I'll definitely visit again on my next visit to Charleston.

We’ve never been there before. I was excited to try the pastries, but wow the employee that served us was unnecessarily RUDE! The cake that we ordered is beautiful and the pastries are good, but the rude service kind of ruined the experience. For those of you who have seen Seinfeld, it’s like the “Soup Nazi” episode…

The hotdogs were delicious, but I really felt like I was getting ripped off the way they do their cookies. The display case had nice big cookies. But they got my cookies from the other side where the cookies were much smaller. I hope this a one time thing so I will have to return soon and report back my experience.
