Came here for a global entry interview, and it was a perfect spot. The airport was very quiet, clean and modern. I'd choose this over LAX, DFW, Heathrow, or Schipol any day.
I never have issues at this airport! It's small but they do a good job moving people through quickly every time. Sometimes there's not even a line at security! Everyone is always kind. I love that they have a local coffee shop inside security rather than a big chain coffee place. Overall I'm am regularly satisfied with this airport!
The layout is very straightforward and easy to navigate. The TSA employees here are always so nice and pleasant. Overall a nice airport. It's always a good idea to get here at least one hour before boarding starts. I prefer American Airlines when flying out of Springfield. The kiosks are easy to navigate and just way better managed.
This airport is very small in comparison, and that's why I love it. While it might not have as many options as some other airports, it is a very simple layout and really easy to follow. I've only flown out of here a couple of times, but TSA is always nice to me as well.
Love the size of this airport. Everything is easy to find. Long term parking is reasonably priced.
This is a small airport, yet it is surprisingly spacious when you walk in. Baggage claim is exceptionally easy with only 3 carousels. Parking is directly in front of the entrance, so there's no need to take a shuttle or park in a garage and remember what level you are on. There are a variety of places to sit and wait for arriving passengers, which is nice. I really like that seating by the gates have small tables between some seats--not just long rows. It provides a table and a solo seat for a solo traveler. Great women's bathrooms! There are 8 bathroom stalls.  Good sinks--water comes on easily and stays on a good amount of time. However, the paper towels are hard to manage. They come out in a string--you have to pull just right to separate the pieces. Springfield has a great airport.
We were traveling with a large group and one of the women forgot her purse on the plane. We went to the front desk of delta and told them. The guy at the front curly haired heavy set guy said we would have to wait until the next flight in an hour and a half before someone in the back could walk it up to us. This would be understandable if there was no way for them to walk 100yards to the first gate. There was 4 people at the delta desk talking and laughing and no people that they needed to help. I had a crying baby just standing there. He would not help us. My husband called Springfield airport and got connected to security on our own and they were so nice and brought my friends purse with in 5 minute’s. Deltas front desk people are absolutely rude and worthless.
A nice clean quiet airport. I had a flight get in late night, then I had to make a 5am flight back out the next day. I debated on staying in the airport but chose a nearby hotel to be safe. They have patrol through the airport and these nice chairs to rest if needed. So if there is ever a next time and I only have 5 hours between flights, i may stay in the airport. TSA doesn't open until 430am. It took less than 8mins to clear check point and head to my gate for my 5am flight. I think** one coffee place was starting to open right at 5am.
Excellent small airport! Love the new name - Roy Blunt Terminal! A new name after our Missouri Senator and former president of Southwest Baptist University! Dr.DVD
Very clean and modern regional airport. Poor making choices, but otherwise nicely decorated.
