Not sure y they close at 4 and every other city hall closes at 4:30 make life harder
Seeing the display from our city's children brightened my day. Was treated kindly from most of the people there. Was disappointed over the service fee to pay for my taxes.
Gas prices and food at all time highs, people are in poverty struggling to live, and the City of Springfield thinks now is a good time to boot cars? If someone can barley afford gas to get to work how possibly can they afford the $400. Extortion fee. If you don't have the money within 24 they tow your car, charging more fees daily. We won't even mention that we are charged tax for cars we already paid tax on. Things need to change.
It's City Hall. You can pay your taxes, get a birth certificate or marriage license, send a letter to your local elected officials and conduct any other city related business. The building is beautiful with old architecture.
Nothing much for me to talk about other than individual politicians playing with people's lives everyday and neglecting the voters call and not answering your constituents complaints on certain neighborhoods goes unheard
Nice building, friendly staff wherever I had to go. Parking is a little tough unless you don't mind a block or two walk.
I was trying to vote today and I had the worse experience. I went to city hall to vote and they gave me a location to vote that was across a busy intersection and of course it’s not easy to get across to 309 chestnut during rush hour not that the building was actually on chestnut street. So if you are walking this is very confusing to individuals who have never voted at this site in the past. They of course never told me the building was hidden behind the old YMCA either. This is so crazy and unbelievably annoying.
It was well organized they have all of the paperwork with pens, tables and chairs for you to sit down in the lobby to fill out before getting in line. But there was a little wait.
I like the Fact that houses are cheap out but the parking is very limited. The street is congested with houses but it’s ok. The drive is kinda of far.
Today was pretty amazing in and out but had to pay them extra again what a scam
