Very friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The towels were incredibly soft and the beds were heavenly. They only allow guests in their building and lock all doors, so I felt very safe! The breakfast was very good and everywhere was clean. I would highly recommend!!!!Rooms: 5/5
Great location, kind of tucked away from the interstate but with easy access. Looks like recently remodeled and very clean. Breakfast had many options. We all slept great. Staff were all very pleasant. First time in Minneapolis, but definitely won’t be our last.Rooms: 5/5
This is our favorite hotel. Fair price for every thing we are looking for in a hotel. Hot tub is hot. Pool is a comfortable temp. Beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great! No complaints at all from me. I will keep coming back.Rooms: 5/5
Still no housekeeping service provided despite our Bonvoy profile requesting it, and many other Marriott hotels providing daily service now. When asked about getting the room serviced, it seemed to be quite an inconvenience. Bathrooms are quite out of date despite room renovations. Pool was too high in chlorine and hot tub was low in temp, again, another area not yet renovated. Overall a good stay, but felt pictures didn't touch these areas on the website obviously, so wanted to share.
Very nice hotel. There was a ripped window shade in our room, a light out, and bathroom door didn't lock easily. Nothing to big of a deal! Would definitely stay again!!Rooms: 4/5
Just checked in , October 26th , for 5 nites - we drove 4 hours to get here - we moved last year in October to a lake house in a little town called Fulda , Mn - so coming back to visit means a lot - I’ve also worked for Marriott for about 18 years - but when my spouse retired after 26 years at the State Attorney’s office in St. Paul , I let him pick where to go ! So , we live in the country ! Anyhow - Allan checked us in and talk about gracious ! He was an excellent ambassador for the property and the room he selected for us is awesome ! We will review when we leave - but housekeeping has done an amazing job - I’ll be flying out in the morning to Chicago for Halloween and will be back on the 31st - Doug is thrilled with the suite - THank you , thank you
**Updated my star rating due to the fact that I received a response about the maintenance of the pool. That was my mistake for assuming the weren't checking. Like I said, the staff was nothing short of amazing. I may give them another try if we're in the area.** The staff was amazing and kind!! The room itself was ok. Cracks along AC/heat unit, missing electricity plate, shower tub was grimey, shower head was leaking and sprayed water out of the shower unless you turned the shower head a certain way, and found a baby spider crawling on the bed. Thin walls/door, you can pretty much hear everything. I felt like the swimming pool hasn’t been treated and with an all girls softball team there all weekend and them using the pool often, I would think they would check. One small elevator for the entire hotel, which took forever. Breakfast was decent, but can’t really complain since it’s free. Parking wasn’t too bad. Location was ideal but I would definitely check out other hotels in the area after this stay.
