Springhouse Tack Shop is a family owned and operated retail store, celebrating over 51 years of business. Springhouse Tack Shop started in 1966 when Carlita Reed began to sell English Tack and apparel in her small springhouse. Over the years the need to expand became apparent and so Mrs. Reed began to sell both English and Western supplies in 1987. In both 1976 and 1987, they expanded again moving into their barn and adding a second floor. This is where Springhouse Tack Shop is still found today
