Big dog dog park and small dog dog park With LOTS of beautiful dogs! Playground for the kiddos with lots of fun stuff for them to be rambunctious on! Sports park for baseball games. Hiking trails, and biking. Set of stairs that are probably 3-4 floors up! Wonderful place to spend the day with your family!
Nice park for kids, large playset, littles playset, bathrooms and covered area for eating or parties. But my only thing is the city has not fixed the slide in months its still boarded off. Playground: Big kids area, little kids area, zipline is up, plenty of sidewalk for chaulk art, and area is all padded with woodchips. Restrooms: 2 clean restrooms near play and picnic covered area Picnic area: Large enough for 2-3 large parties at once picnic tables inside, nice area near open field for activities if u like.
We were at the dog park Everyone took good care of their pets so there wasn't any problem with fights or pick up of poop. Everyone got along well and had an enjoyable time
This is a great multi-use complex. It has two baseball fields that can be scheduled for use with Bellingham Parks & Rec. There is an open cement basketball court with limited bench area for resting/viewing. It has a dedicated dog park as well as walking trails & a couple of large maintained topographical fields perfect for walking/jogging/running etc. There are grassy areas too that would make a great place for a picnic or other family outing or would easily lend itself to a pickup game of the likes of football, soccer or Frisbee not to mention being ideal for kite flying in breezy weather. If this weren't enough to make it an all around family friendly zone there is a "million smiles" style playground that even includes a zip line that seems to easily handle weights up to 200lbs from what I've witnessed as well as a mini skate board area perfect for that young beginning boarder. And still, Adjacent to the playground is a Pavillion large enough to handle almost any family that would like to have a meal while enjoying watching there young ones play, or for hosting a decent sized get together or family reunion. Although for larger audiences it might be best to reserve the pavilion ahead of time, again, through Bellingham Parks & Rec. There are public drinking fountains attached to the stand alone brick structure which is centrally located & houses the restrooms. In fact The only thing that may feel slightly lacking is the bathrooms of which there are only 3 which may not be adequate to fully accommodate a larger crowd on a full mixed use day. Two are located in the dedicated central location brick building & the third is located next to the basketball court / dedicated dog park. There is no hot water, but there is soap for washing up and baby changing stations in both of the unisex bathrooms. The bathrooms have always been clean when I have been there and show regular attending to. The situation is no where near dire enough to reduce the review by even half a star & so a full star review is still ok here. Parking is usually ample for the size & features 8 easy access dedicated handicapped parking stalls and the park is definitely ADA compliant. There is also overflow parking that is made available if the park is scheduled for heavy use. I hope this review has been helpful to you. ~ #Mosiah
Fun place to picnic or play at the water park while big brother is playing a baseball game you can get the bbq ready. Shaded areas dog areas and most importantly a clean bathroom you can be sure no one has used drugs in. Playground: Cool zip line! Small Waterpark Restrooms: Clean! No smell of drugs or signs of drug use. Dog-friendliness: Poop and scoop bags available play & poop area and a drinking fountain for our furry friends Picnic area: Bbq pits, tables and lawn space.
The zip line is so fun for the kids! Great park with kids play area, softball fields, basketball court, and open area to play!
I've spent quite a bit of time at this park, between with the kids at the park, as well as at the ball fields. I've always enjoyed coming here, and my kids really love the zipline that they have. This park is also the host for the annual Turkey Trot in November
Pretty sweet park!! Love the trees and log parts of the park! Plus there's basketball hoops and a baseball field and walk paths! Zipline is shutdown btw.
Squalicum Creek Park is a great family Park with restrooms, baseball diamonds, awesome playground, dog park, walking path connected to other urban trails, and a very nice covered eating area for up to 60 people. There have been a couple unusual animal sitings here I’ve been told such as a cougar and a coyote. There’s also a well used basketball court here as well.
Very clean park, nice covered area. Parking can be hectic on a busy day but overall plenty of room for kids to run
