SquareCut is an Indian bistro/bakery open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition to our cafe food, we tout a full bakery specializing in vegan-friendly cakes, breads and more.

Description

We are SquareCut, an Indian Bistro & Bakery café in New Jersey. Open for 7 days a week, we tout a unique menu of baked goods like our delicious cakes and European style pastries, puffs & croissants stuffed with Indian favorites such as chicken tikka, paneer tikka, to a delicious meld of traditional Indian cuisine and american quick serve food unlike any other. We offer famous Indian snacks and street food such as samosas, sizzling chaats, vada pav and much more. Our masala chai and madras coffee will sure invite you over and over.

Good - The butterscotch cake Bad - Ginger Tea - Too much of sugar. Gave this back, and the staff was cold and did not even offer to replace it. They said it is a machine made tea and they cannot do anything. Bad - Egg Puffs - Name sake puffs. Egg and tomato sauce with pepper and salt. Will not visit this place again.
Not a good place for snacks in the evenings. No items to select from front counters , puffs are not fresh- I came all the way from north Brunswick because of my friend suggestion
Celebrated my son's birthday with a custom made cake from Square Cut and boy they made it with so much of perfection as I wanted them to. Cake was not only made well to look good but was damn delicious too. I used to get custom made cakes from other vendors but they just used icings which looks good but tastes average. However, they made it with the cream they usually put on their small cakes and it was just yum! Really great job!!! I don't really take time to write reviews but I wanted to thank them this way!
Horrible! A BIG turn Off, I ordered a double layer cake a week in advance with picture, two days before the event I called them to remind them, to which they said thankfully you called us, we had missed to see your email with the cake picture and they said they will deliver cake by 12pm on the event day, my event was planned at 6pm, the same morning i get a call that if i can come at 4 PM, i was corporative so i said ok, when i went at 4PM, they kept saying wait for 5 mins, another 10 mins and so on, and then finally they handed me over the cake at 5PM, which was just made, not finished appropriately, it was all shaking, cake decor was horrible, the cake was for 50 ppl for $200. By the time i took cake to the event, all the stars on the cake slid down by leaving marks on the cake, the cake got cracks at many places. My $200 got wasted, if they would have made cake a day before things would have bern different, Squarecut- why the heck do you take multiple orders if you cant make it to the time and quality. It was such a horrible experience with Square-cut that i will never order with them again nor i will ever suggest anyone to Squarecut. They tried their best to spoil my son’s first birthday party.
Best place around town for cakes with many flavors available at reasonable price. The staff are nice and helpful.Food: 5/5
Ordered pineapple cake for my daughter's 1st birthday and the cake smelled bad and tasted bad. Best day ended on very very bad note. Disgusting.Food: 1/5

Amazing experience ,we ordered so many custom cakes for bday parties from last 2 years all are good tasty mango , pista ,mixed fruit ........etc
Does not matter how many days you placed your order here, they will find a way how to make you wait or mess up your order. I never liked this place. I placed a order for a cake 5 days in advance and pick up supposed to be at 5pm but had to wait 45 minutes for the order and it was not even busy. Never again
