Founded in 1933, SMR is the first nudist club in Oregon and the oldest nudist club west of the Mississippi. We are located 2,000 ft. up in the Oregon's Cascade Mountains near Estacada, Oregon and is adjacent to the Mount Hood National Forest. SMR offers a touch of unspoiled wilderness combined with some of the features of modern campgrounds. No, we don't have fancy indoor swimming pools, a lavish hotel, or even paved roads, but what we do have is over 19 acres of some of the most beautiful, rustic, natural, wooded property nature has to offer and we are open to the public for nude camping or lodging all year long. Our elevation affords us pleasant summers and generally cooler winters with occasional snow. The campsites offer cooling shade in the summer and protection from the wind and snow in the winter. We host social events and meetings monthly and are available for quieter enjoyment most other times.
Our mission at SMR is to open the knowledge of true nudity/naturism and offer a safe and comfortable place to visit either by family, couples or individuals.
