SSL Computers

I'm really not sure what some of these negative reviews are talking about, as I've been using this place to help me out with parts, purchases, info and repairs, and they've been nothing but helpful. The workers I've recently talked to have gone out of their way to make sure I don't buy anything unnecessary or without sufficient information. They've done price comparisons in front of me, checking if the nearby Best Buy has better prices, sometimes it has been cheeper, and sometimes this SSL has been cheaper. I honestly think they've been fair and honest with their prices. This place is right near a Best Buy, so they depend on returning customers, and I can say that I trust them. I have a couple of actual gripes: 1: There have been some employees that haven't been as helpful, and they didn't impress me, but the newer workers I've met since those ones left have been great. 2: They have absolutely been mostly inaccurate with their wait/call times, which can be really inconvenient if you're on a schedule. However, a friend of mine went to the Best Buy Geek Squad nearby, and it was worse for her than it's ever been for me getting help from this SSL. So that's something to keep in mind. I do honestly recommend this place, and I do so with a good understanding of what it is like getting things from here, and Best Buy, and I prefer here. But, hey, I'm not a computer expert. Give them a chance if you're in the area and need their expertise.

they are selling parts from best buy and amazon and charging $20-$50 more. that's why they say "come after few days." I got a computer quote of $1300 while the same parts were available everywhere for total of $800. that's $500 difference plus tax. blatant scammers!

Raj is a very skilled specialist. He replaced a broken screen on my MacBook and fixed a very bad water damaged on my windows laptop it wasn't even turning on. He is very polite and his prices are very fair. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Bought a used Computer from them and and a used Monitor from them and sent the Employee they harrassed her. They Treated me as though they weren't aware of me coming in which had been per arranged by at least 4 phone calls from the My Office and they played Dumb about it. They sold us a monitor that is scared all the was across the screen. they were told to give me a demo and they did not. Very unsatisfied .

SSL Computers has provided quality service for our home computers and laptops for over 4 years now. It is so nice to get quality and excellent customer service with each person at SSL. They know computers and provide great service and good price. We are very grateful to have them in our neighborhood. thank you so much !!!!!

I got my Two PC's tune up from SSL. Nitin and his team , Abhishek and Raj have done a tremendous job. Since, I run a business, they worked on my computer on Sunday and gave it back to me by Monday so that I can be up and running . Very honest and reasonable rates on parts , my computers are lightning fast now. Again, Thank you Abhishek- Raj and Nitin .

Good place to have your computer checked out and reset to factory. Not the quickest place, I usually don't get my computer when they say I will. Prices are good, the staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Parking out front of store.

My appreciation to the staff @ SSL COMPUTERS in Abbotsford, for repairing. my daughter's HP laptop, she is very happy, she got all her files back, and the laptop is working very fast it's in tip-top shape. Thank you for your good service A.Martin

Beware about part theft. Wish i can leave zero star. Replaced my damaged laptop screen. I paid for touch screen but they replaced with normal screen, and when i go back there Surrey shop mostly closed and phone them too and they told me they will open tomorrow. I visited 4 time. Then i think they closed the Surrey location. I have my citizenship test and i need to use webcam, and i realize they steal that too and replaced with some cheap quality webcam. Even the connection is not properly established as cam stop working suddenly. Beware

I had my PC updated recently migrating my boot system to a bigger SSD M.2 and it was done quickly and very professionally. The new young guy who attended to me was excellent and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.
