Great place! In and out in under an hour!!! Three nurses checking us in. All friendly, caring, and super competent. Dr. Wood was amazing with our 9 year old son. Calm, efficient, and got us all taken care of in record time. Thank you! Turned a stressful situation into a blessing. We appreciate you all!
Don’t go here if you’re actually in pain, for an active and confirmed by fat ER Dr herself tooth infection, she’ll be a smart mouth, as if she actually has an IQ above yours, very condescending, and clearly doesn’t take her Hippocratic oath seriously whatsoever as none do due to privatization of our healthcare industry, and give you nothing. When you ask for generic prescriptions, she call in brand names to add extra insult. Worst experience and now, an infection that will remain untreated. Thanks for nothing, except that $1000 bill I’ll receive for doing nothing but being obese. Would not recommend- but… the ER nurse and secretary were very pleasant I will say. Thank them, but malpractices on behalf of the MD are abysmal.
Went here to get a popcorn seed out of my 2 year old’s ear last Sunday night. The wait wasn’t awful, but for two hours and to be told she the doctor couldn’t even see the very visible kernel in his ear that three other people were able to see with just a pocket light, it was not a good experience. Dr. Shelly R Zimmerman was extremely condescending, told me she didn’t know why I was getting upset when I was told there would be a decent wait to get in with an ENT, all while my two year old was crying because he was hurting, and asked me if I even saw him put the kernel in his ear. Would NOT have come here if I wasn’t dreading the wait at Children’s, but now I will absolutely not be coming here again.
This place is a complete joke. The nurse and the whole staff had a major attitude problem, and obviously hate their jobs. The ER doctor knows nothing and should not be practicing medicine. Please do not take anyone you care about to this ER. Document everything if you do take someone here. You may need it for a law suit
My husband broke his left ankle last Tuesday. Took him to Saint Anthony's ER. Are all ER staff trained to be unsympathetic and cold? They put on a splint. Wrapped it way to tight.
If a zero star was possible, that is what I would have posted! Today I drove my 88 yr old friend for a post op back X-ray from major spinal surgery. We sat in the waiting area for over an hour. I went up and spoke to the receptionist about our wait and she then called back to X-ray who told her it would be about 20 more minutes. We were just about to leave as our wait was now over 2 hours, when they called her back. This is unacceptable. Perhaps the staff could use a refresher course on patient care. The receptionist was pleasant and apologized but said there were several emergencies. I’m aware that there is a shortage of staff but I believe what should have happened was that someone come out to the waiting room and explain to all the patients why we had such a long wait. It would have been nice to have words of encouragement from a staff member other than it will be “about twenty more minutes”.
We had two awesome experiences here. Both times we were seen quickly, and taken good care of. Everyone was extremely friendly and polite. The facility was very clean. Overall an excellent experience. The only recommendation I would have is for the front lobby of the Emergency Department to be cleaned up and made a bit more presentable. It was a bit of a disaster.
St Anthony's itself is not a bad corporation, reasonable prices, easy to use app features, convenient location, which is why I choose this office. My only complaint is [the doctor I am seeing]. I have been seeing her for about a year now and have had several issues. She seems to disregard complaints you bring up to her, or sometimes not even contact you back with results or check back to make sure treatment if offered is working! And with my most recent experience.... I understand staffing has been an issue everywhere, in office the wait is ridiculously long, but there is really no reason I should wait OVER AN HOUR for a virtual appointment, and the nurse kinda let it slip that she takes her lunch during that time, but my appointment was scheduled way before that. So I had to cancel because I had to go back to work and I was still charged... The nurse said this would be refunded, but I have yet to see it. I did not talk to [my Doctor] at all during this time, only nurses. I won't be coming back, or I will see a different doctor...
My experience is with getting thru the many automated messages to eventually talk to a person who puts me on hold because she is helping another patient or scheduling an appointment. They require these ladies to do so much you are Frustrated before you l..get to tell them what you need. The staff,nurses, and Doctors are great and we have been going there for years.
A wonderful and beautiful experience. From the time we checked in pleasant. But Dr. T. Hermance R-O-C-K-S. He knows what he was talking about and about the body also meds. Also a spiritual Dr. A+
