St Augustine Center Library

We visited for the "book sale" and what great prices. It's donation based prices. All kids' books .10 cents, adults .50 cents unless marked. It's not a huge selection, but for ten cents, you're bound to find something. There is a park next to the library as well.

Very helpful staff in kids zone helping us get kids library cards sorted and also getting us everything we needed. So very helpful.

This library has some serious organization problems. The seating area for computers is very small, so there is an overflow area of seats and outlets against the wall. However, they've put the DVDs and media right in front of these seats, so that there is a constant stream of people walking directly in front of you. Combined with the construction that is making it hard to get into and out of the library, it's becoming a location to avoid.

So I went to the main library in St. Augustine and they don’t know what they did with the boxes of brand new paperback books I donated to them a few months ago for free. They could sell those books at their bookstore. This raises a lot of questions. ????????

I haven't been to the library in many years but it's got improved parking, it's easier to get in and out of, and the staff is kind and friendly. We had a great visit and look forward to going back regularly.

My family loves this library. Our kids ask to visit all the time. They are so helpful and I enjoy the book store and book specials as well. After, we can have a snack at the playground before heading home as well.

I love all libraries. This one in St Augustine has a very helpful staff. There are many books, dvds & cds that you can purchase through the book sale. And I have found some excellent choices.

I never knew if I would be qualified for a St John county library card since I have been told from other library locations that I live in a different county_ It's not allowed otherwise I will be charged to get a card. I found this unfair at first and got discouraged to go to any library that was from a different county. I decided to visit this place out of curiosity, and this nice lady at the service desk was offering me her help and asked me what I wanted. I told her that I'm from a different county and that I don't have a library card and there It's not possible for me to get books from the library. Then she told that she could get me a library card although I am from a different county. Surprisingly, she made me a library card, and showed me all the library programs and services. I could make it to borrowing some books that way. I am very grateful that this lady offered me her help and make it possible that I will be borrowing book from any St John county library.

I really like this library because I go there when I’m bored and get books

In the same parking lot as the library sits a venue that is the jewel of the local art community. Now as the Waterworks this Henry Flagler era building is a hub for A Classic Theatre, Ancient City Poets, and countless other artists and art lovers.
