Decent care but my question is why is staff parking in handicapped parking spaces nearest the ER entrance. I waited in my car for my daughter and watched multiple staff members take spaces reserved for those with disabilities. This is a health care facility so pretty likely that those spaces would be needed.
The ER was insane busy. We waited hours for a bed, and when I finally got one, it was a hall bed. 12 hours later and I never got a room. My nurses were AMAZING though shout out to Sydney and Samantha and were the ones who encouraged the doctor to do other tests which is what finally got me admitted. There was zero communication between doctors and nurses it seemed. Like none. I had 3 doctors tell me 3 different things were wrong with me. I never got a resolution when discharged. Also, the food was horrible. I had my sister go out and buy me stuff I could actually eat. Overall, the facility was very nice and the nurses were awesome. Just super overrun like every other healthcare facility.
We went to emergency last night and the wait time was excruciating. They too, were short staffed and the beds were full. When we finally made it to the back room, the LPN on duty Heather was wonderful. She did some of the testing that helped speed up the process and move things quickly. They did everything they could to get us out and home again with what we needed. The doctors and emergency nurses were on top of things, and under difficult situations, I was impressed. Thank you.
My experience with the triage nurses was amazing! They were so kind and helpful and tried to keep me comfortable and updated as much as possible. The only person I wasn’t a huge fan of was the ultrasound tech. If she had been my first encounter, this review would probably be different.
Wish I could give zero stars. They caused permanent nerve damage to my father's leg. He was soupossed to have a simple drainage. They damaged his thigh nerve so Much he has been unable to walk without help or a cane for 7 months now , we haven't been able to find anyone who can help us. He was fine before going to this facility. We regret we took him there everyday. If you love your family, take them to Cleveland clinic instead. These people have no experience or empathy, Don't let them experiment on you or anyone you care about.
I would give Mercy Hospital in Boardman zero stars if I could. This was by far the WORST experience we have ever had at a hospital. My loved one had a stroke. No one attended to her needs including the nurses and aides. They purposely did not make eye contact and ignored the call buttons. This facility needs a massive overhaul. I understand there is a staffing shortage~I work at the Cleveland Clinic. The attitude and behavior exhibited by the entire staff was appalling.
Friday December 2nd. Was admitted to the hospital. I spent 3 days their. Had great nurses and doctors in emergency room and 6th floor nurses thank you Was very sick when l was admitted everyone did a great job helping me get better so l could go home. To all nurses and staff thank you to Jessie and Dawn in house keeping pleasant lady always made me smile. Thank you keep up the good work.
Had a c section wednesday, was left in the recovery room for almost 8 hours alone with my husband and newborn, had to keep calling for a nurse because otherwise noone checked on us. Didnt make it into a room until almost midnight, then 2 days later i was told that i would be discharged because they needed beds.
The waiting time is ridiculous. ... and to top it off you Never know if the nurses or doctors are going to talk to u with respect. I had to use the restroom, and was waiting to go, when the janitor came out and rudely said I need to get through. I was like ok, go ahead. And then she just shook her head. I mean customer service is everything. My job would never tolerate this type of behavior from their workers. Straight up.
Do not go here. The wait time is at least 5 hours. I've woke up in the middle of surgery. People are bleeding out and throwing up in the lobby. The place is run like a joke. If you're lucky enough to see a doctor instead of a nurse you will only have 1 minute of his or her time. In repeated procedures they've made me worse not better. Even taking blood is a huge chore for them.
