Denied Covid booster shot. Made appointment, showed up on time, checked in they already had my insurance info, waited approx 25 minutes and then was told it had been a little over 3 years since my last appointment and I was no longer considered a patient there so they would NOT give me a shot. My Chart online confirmed appointment, call center confirmed appointment, no where did they say anything about a 3-year appointment policy. Why does anyone need to pay and have an unnecessary doctor's visit just to remain an 'active' patient? And if so, why not tell me when I call to make an appointment?
I've always been happy with this place until today, had a video visit last Monday and was told by the Dr then that if I was still sick in a few days an antibiotic would be called in no questions asked. Had to call in work sick today and at 8:03 this morning they had no available appts for today, after being interrogated by staff as to how sick I really was receptionist playing investigator trying to decide who gets an appointment and who doesn't I settled for a call back from the Dr. After three phone calls to them, I never even got a call back and now have to go back to work sick with no note and little rest that I so needed from playing phone tag all day. Glad I work for a smaller company that knows I would not lie about being sick as I never miss. The place has great doctors they just accept too many patients and can't handle the work load. Extremely disappointed and will be searching for a new provider ASAP. It's sad what this place has become
I would give 0 stars if I could. I've been charged for so many services from this place that I have never requested or received. When I called the billing center and main office to complain, they said that the APRN who saw me had documented that I received these services therefore I must have, and my bill was sent to a collections agency and negatively impacted my credit score. I never received a two-step TB test that I was charged for, never requested the pneumonia vaccine that was forcibly given to me, and never received a physical exam that I was charged for. St. Elizabeth refused to remove any charges. There are APRN's here who need to have their license taken away for unethical medical practices and ignoring the right of the patient to refuse. Do not go here.
The doctor was very thorough and listened to my problems thank you for having such thoughtful well-mannered and dedicated doctors
Place is a joke anymore to get in to see a Dr. Why have a pcp if all they can say is go to Urgent Care we have nothing available
Friendly staff and convenient location. They also have a lab on site. Their hematologist was the fastest and least painful I've ever encountered. I know that sounds like an odd review but honestly she was wonderful.
It was my first time at this clinic. I came with my significant other. She was the patient and was coming in just for a routine check. Her appointment was at 9:20 AM. We arrived between 9-9:05. If you aren’t fifteen minutes early you’re late. Well, we signed in and waited until 9:45 for her to even be taken back. There were maybe 4 other patients even waiting! With 5 doctors on hand you think for a light morning this wouldn’t be a problem. My SO then waited from 9:45 until 10:30 in the exam room waiting on the doctor to see her. A patient should wait a maximum of 10 minutes in the waiting room and 20 maximum in the exam room. She then returned with nothing figured out because the doctor was so poor. Great job saint E. This place needs some serious help!
My appointment was at 1:30 and I had it down at 3:00 on my calendar. They were so accommodating by making room for me. I really appreciated it.
I accidentally went on the wrong day but this was because I am used to mychart reminding me of an appt 1 day before, but it reminded me on Monday for an appt. on Wed. On autopilot, I went on Tuesday by mistake. I was able to see another doctor provided for follow up. i wish I knew about this location sooner. Everything is top notch. Excellent customer service, staff and physicians.
If I could give zero stars I would. I came in for an appointment that I made the same day. Was 10 mins late. Receptionist Lindsey checked with the doctor Pleiman to see if she still will be able to see me. Mind you no one was in the lobby but me but ok go check. She comes back and says the dr can only address the foot pain and nothing else no refill of my medication nothing I’m diabetic she say I will have to make another appointment to address any other concerns. So you mean to tell me I pay $25 for copay. And my insurance pays you I can’t even discuss filling a prescription?? Yeah will not be a returning patient to ST ELIZABETH INDEPENDENCE KY. Never been treated like this by medical professionals
