My mom was admitted to this facility for recovery after she broke her hip. Going in, I wasn’t so sure about many of the choices we had since we were asked to make a choice within a day. Fortunately, St. Francis was above and beyond what we anticipated. The staff here were helpful with my moms need despite the language barrier. There was someone available every step of the way and that made my mom and me felt more secure. I would highly recommend St. Francis for these reasons.
I would highly recommend St Francis Healthcare Center to anyone in need of quality care for themselves or a loved one. The staff's dedication to individualized care, along with the facility's welcoming atmosphere and abundance of amenities, make it a top-notch choice for skilled nursing and rehab care. This facility is under excellent management - Admin Matt Hadley.
We moved from Windsor to this facility as it was closer for us and little did we know it's owned and managed by the same company, that's why the service and commitment was identical. The caring nurses and management team was supportive, lot of resources and the compassion. You guys
St Francis Healthcare Center has amazing staff, facility was nice and clean! Nurse Em was very sweet and patient with my grandmother.
I take pride in the work we do at this facility. As a part of leadership I am lucky enough to witness the hard work that goes on from the inside looking out. From Housekeeping, to floor staff, to kitchen, therapy all the way to discharge. Working in the Hayward community we care for people from all walks of life, which in turn helps us continue to improve the quality of care we stride to provide. Jinal the director of rehab has helped with so many success stories in improvement of ADLs, whether that’s helping families lessen the burden of care of their loved ones as well as regaining their own independence! Mary, the Social Service director is clear & concise and gives her 100% from admission to discharge, always giving a helping hand and providing resources to discharge home safely for & residents and their loved ones! I stand by these two wonderful ladies & the rest of the team at St Francis, it’s not always easy but they show up everyday for our residents & their families.
I worked there for 4 months as a CNA.I got signed to have a bonus every 3 months. I did sign paperwork that they kept. I spoke with HR rudely verbally informed me that they changed the sign on bonus to 4 months. That was after I was supposed to get my first bonus. They withheld my bonus. Got let go and I never received my bonus. I do have text messages from staff stating I would get my bonus every 3 months so there is no confusion.
Facility is clean & Nurse Em was a great help while a family member stayed in this facility.
May 2, 2021 @7pm PST, Tried calling several for my mom who is admitted at the facility but nobody is picking up the phone and the voicemail is full. 1-Star for this week. May 8,2021-My experience this past week was far better than the week ending May 2, 2021. SHOUTOUT to the clinical liaison team for going out of their way to address any feedback we have in regards to our mom’s condition who has a very high risk of fallingher dimentia only makes it worse. The staff are better coordinated and left nothing to chance by adding the good old bell to supplement a call Light and pressure type alarm to ensure my mom doesn’t walk to the restroom by herself. While there are still areas of improvement e.g. picking up incoming calls, I now feel more confident this will be resolve in no time. I will again share my experience for this coming week or so and hopefully the staff can sustain their momentum.
This place is horrible. The employees that run this place have zero follow through. I asked them to email me; I never received anything. My mother FELL and broke her hip and they left her sitting like that. It took them FIVE HOURS to get an ambulance. We were lied to about the kind of care that this horrible place provides. We were told this could be permanent; turns out that their only concern is to turn beds. When asked questions about certain conditions, they had NO IDEA how to answer any of it. This place is a joke. A bad one. If you care about your loved ones, avoid sending them here. They yell at the elderly and ignore them and smile in your face.
Looking for a good rehabilitation facility? You found it. Great attentive staff. I speak from personal experience. If I need the use of the facility again, I will ask to be sent here.
