The St. Francis School of Law is an online school based in Irvine, California. It is registered with the State Bar of California and upon completing its online law degree program and passing the "Baby Bar" administered by the State Bar of California, students are issued a JD (Juris Doctorate). St. Francis was founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and attorneys. Its curriculum focuses on providing a practical legal education.
Degrees offered
A Juris Doctor (J.D.) law degree is currently the only degree offered. Students who pass the First-Year Law School Examination (FYLSX) and California Bar Examination and otherwise meet all requirements of the State Bar of California are eligible to be admitted to the State Bar of California and may practice law in California.
The online J.D. program is a four-year program in which students must complete 48 weeks of instruction and 2 weeks of exams each year. Students who complete St. Francis' online J.D. program will have met the legal education requirement of the State Bar of California and may apply for admission to the State Bar of California to practice law.

Our online, four-year Juris Doctor degree program provides high‐achieving career professionals with the flexibility to earn their law degree while continuing to excel in their careers.
You’ll complete at least 130 quarter credits of instruction, including all the essential law school courses: Torts, Contracts, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure, Civil Procedure, Real Property, Evidence, Business Associations, Community Property, Trusts, Wills and Estates, and Remedies. Introduction to Legal Research and Writing and Advanced Legal Writing are both required, to ensure you become the great researcher and writer you need to be to win cases and help clients. And, over a dozen elective courses are regularly offered to enrich your experience, in areas such as Employment Law, Trial Advocacy, Intellectual Property, Professional Skills, Administrative Law, Bankruptcy, Compliance, Federal Income Taxation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
