Overall a nice experience. Not the best when it comes to level sites, but certainly manageable. Clean bathrooms, decent number of shower stalls. Only complaint is wishing it had more shaded areas. It's southern Utah, so it's 105+ degrees and basically no clouds during the summer months. It would be great to have a covered area to relax outside to get away from the sun, besides just sitting in my own camper. The playground area could benefit from some shade also.... Bottom line: Nice and clean place with some great red rock scenery, but too much direct sunlight.
We were excited to stay here. But that ended when we went to our tent site. We paid for a premium tent site but when we got to our site, someone else had taken over the parking area. Staff was nice but instead of having the vehicle removed it didn't even have a park tag in it they moved us to a RV site to put our tent. The site was up a hill in the long term area. We were told we couldn't use the grass. As VIP members we were shocked but stayed in the site since they had no tent site to offer. What was the worst part was the people who took over our paid for site were allowed to have it! They put up a tent and were there all except our last day when someone else went into our tent site. The noise from the highway was so loud. I'm sure it is fine if you are in an RV but definitely not for a tent. We won't stay here again.
Stayed in space 110, about 21' x 51', not quite level gravel, never able to actually level our coach as the drop from the last stair was perilous as it was leaving us leaning toward the right and slightly downhill. Multiple spots have "goat head" weeds throughout the spaces and they play havoc with pets. We had tried to move to a more level and satellite sky friendly area but the carpet of weeds made it impossible for the dog. We're definitely not fans of the shared common area with another camper and with short spaces and limited parking options, the two picnic tables were never used and were simply in the way. With two neighbors over the course of a week, we got to listen to their conversations as we were just 9' from everything they did outside. The spouse says the laundry was adequate, the roads were a little narrow when the tenters chose to park on the pavement and not in their own spaces. Some spots had fire rings. The pool seemed to be popular and there were other things for kids to do. Not a horrible experience but having been in our coach in 43 states in the last eight years, this wasn't the experience we thought we had paid for.
Cabin sleeps 6 with full kitchen and bathroom. All supplies were complete. Clean and Air conditioned too. State parks nearby were wonderful to visit. One was on 30 Minutes away and a lake only 10 minutes away.
Like 30 minute drive from Zion National Park. We got the deluxe RV space which offered a lot of space, no neighbors behind us and a lot of privacy. They have a nice little playground for the kids and a swimming pool to cool off from that hot Utah sun. Electric, water, and sewage connections. Also very clean laundry facility.
I thought this was a great campground because of location. The sites are slightly unlevel but you can still level up with levelers or boards. Not much shade but who needs shade when there is so many attractions to see or do in the area. The views were beautiful from this campground. The pool was very clean as the bathrooms/showers were. I found the staff very friendly and helpful.
A really nice KOA, one of the best in fact. Great for kids , a lot to do onsite and stellar location. Only downfall is an absurd amount of road noise for tent campers. Of course this also means it is easy to get to after sunset if traveling. Overall worth the price of admission without a doubt.
Great KOA Campground, sites are little close but livable. Everything clean and neat. Pool spotless. Pickle Ball and equipment available. Nice tent areas with fire pits.
Another beautiful KOA site! Friendly atmosphere, and perfect location to stay for a night just to dumpblack/grey water and run. $10 dump fee, definitely worth it!!! Have this location pinned for my next pass through Utah...
Worst KOA we stayed at. This past weekend we got a Deluxe Cabin for about 260 $ and were so disappointed with our stay. Definitely not worth the money...Super dirty. The floors were dirty, dust everywhere, dead flies on the beds. The dishes and utensils were filty. Broken blinds, one burner in the kitchenette was not working. The tv's remote control was not working either. We asked for assistance and were able to get the batteries changed but didn't fix the problem. When we told the lady at the office the remote control was still not working, she tried to find a universal remote but couldn't so we were unable to watch TV during the entire stay. The water heater was not working properly either. We were only able to take 1, maybe 2 quick warm showers before the water runned out. The office was not very responsive. Under the suggestion of the ladies at the office, I called and texted the manager phone number being very nice to him...after 24 hours I still haven't recieved any answer from him. Will never come back to this location again.
