St. Gregory the Great School is committed to "giving students a God-centered Catholic outlook on life". We are a Pre K - 8 school located in Danbury, CT.
We are dedicated to "academic excellence". Our curriculum is rigorous and standards driven. Our offerings include reading, religion, language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, algebra, foreign language, art, music, drama, physical education and computer literacy. Our textbooks are current and regularly updated. Our classrooms feature state-of-the-art multimedia; computers and technology play an integral part throughout the curriculum. Students use computer stations and iPads/laptops within the classrooms, a computer lab and the Science lab. Interactive whiteboards are used for instruction in every classroom. Students have the opportunity to take part in many extracurricular activities including Parochial League Basketball, cheerleading, track, UN Club, John Hopkins Talent Search, National Geographic Bee, Yale's Paleo Knowledge Bowl and Science Horizons.
