we LOVED the food and had a great lunch while on vaca with our family! we treated ourselves to many menu options which makes it easy for a family with different taste buds!! highly recommended and I ordered the fish and chicken basket and brought the rest back to the hotel to enjoy!!Food: 5/5

I stopped by this restaurant on a trip between Nashville and Indy on 8-21-23. I regularly stop at Cave City to eat because of the convenience and a few different choices on this fairly regular drive. It was a hot day, and my A/C was out on my vehicle. A root beer float sounded like a great idea. Even though expensive at $4.49 for a medium size more than at other A&W locations I've been to, that's what I ordered. I also ordered a full meal from Long John Silver's, for a total of $21.25. There was no visible ice cream on the float, except for a smidge of discolored foam on top. And when I stirred the drink, it was fully liquid, with absolutely NO ice cream present. I was thoroughly disappointed, and immediately went to the counter to nicely express my dissatisfaction. I spoke with 2 employees and a manager, and they refused to satisfactorily address or resolve this issue. I would NEVER order or recommend another root beer float from this location, and would hesitate to do so at any other A&W establishment because of this experience. Unfortunately, I missed out on the opportunity to take a photo of this drink.

We got the 12 piece family meal and it was a lot of food!  The sides were huge. Everything tasted good and was nice and hot. The pieces of fish were much larger than I expected. I travel through the area on occasions and would definitely stop here again.

Instead of using the drive-thru, I have to go in and order my food. This way, when my order gets mixed up, it's easier for me to check my order and to fix.  For instance, yesterday I ordered two Fish & Mores and a box of hushpuppies. Simple, right? Apparently not. As always, I checked the order right there on the counter and found that the to-go bag they gave me not only contained just one Fish & More but there wasnt any coleslaw. I told the manager about the problem and she fixed it straight away.  The management is apologetic when these mix-ups happen, but they happen so frequently.

Can’t resist Long John Silver’s! They all closed in my city, so whenever I see one, I have to eat there. This one has typical LJS fare. Very very greasy and heavy. I got a fish and shrimp platter, and I’m sure it fulfilled my calorie count for the week. My baby loves their corn, so I gave it to her. The service was really quick and friendly. Restaurant was clean. Large outdoor dining patio. Plenty of parking. Also has a drive thru that looked like it was moving pretty quickly. No complaints!

I truly enjoy LJS. There is not one close to me. I drove 26 miles to the Cave City location. Pulled into the parking lot and see an employee sitting at the patio table. He was wearing a nasty dirty bandanna, a ripped nasty jacket, stained not restaurant stains dirty pair of jeans, the jeans didn't cover his entire butt, and was smoking while wearing his cook apron. Now, I am driving 26 miles back home without ever getting out of my vehicle. If their employees don't care how they look, then do they really care about restaurant cleaning etiquette.  I didn't chance it. You decide if you want to chance it.

I stopped at the one in cave city Ky. They were wonderful and very friendly. Our food was hot and fresh and didn't have to wait very long. We will visit again in the future.

I don't normally leave reviews on out of town restaurants, but I was traveling through Friday evening with my daughters and we stopped at Cave City to grab a quick dinner. We were really impressed. The restaurant was clean and very organized. It's unusual these days to go into a fast food restaurant and find all clean tables. The staff was friendly, and helpful, but most of all they were all working hard. We also loved the root beer. We will definitely be back on our future travels through. Thanks!

Drive thru. Had a mistake on my order. Had them to recheck the whole bag. They fixed one mistake and still had one that I only notices when I got home. This time was Not my best experience with them..Food: 3/5
