St. John Lutheran Church Food Pantry (SJLCFP) is a first responder to food insecurity in Will County, IL. We serve the hungry in our community with dignity and grace. All hungry Illinois residents are welcome to visit, we have no residency restrictions.

I am so grateful for the foods I need and receive! It's always plenty and when or if it's too much for me, like extra potatoes or onions, or cereal etc., I pass it on to my neighbors and or family members in need! GOD IS GOOD! And it's a blessing now that I only need pull up in the car with my son, for his. Those workers there are ALWAYS so nice. One guy even sometimes tips his hat . I HAVE NOT BEEN WITHOUT FOOD, SENSE RECEIVING, THEIR BLESSINGS! THANK YOU SO MUCH! A heart felt thank you to you all. And we be sitting there quite early...usually car 3-7 is our goal, and I can go inside to use the cleanest public bathroom I've ever seen
Great place to go to church. People are friendly and all are welcome. If you believe in God you can take communian. The pastor's are great and will talk with you like real people. The sermons are from the heart and they relate with all people.
All are welcome. Multiple pastors to address any needs. It serves the hungry, 3 days a week, thru there food pantry. There is always room to volunteer thruout the building. Very family friendly. Music opportunities are everywhere. You can grow your faith daily, thru the many programs available. You can attend services on Saturday evening or choose from 2 on Sunday. It's very clean.
The food pantry closed early. I literally have no food now. And I'm very hungry. Thank you so much.
If you are looking for a church home come to St John Joliet by the Mall ...you will be glad you did! It is a very welcoming church! They have an incredible team of pastors and staff who are very caring!! They take care of their members and the community as well! There is something for everyone here with their many many ministries for adults, children and the community.
I'm not wealthy and sometimes hurting for food & every Wednesday they have a food pantry that has great food. Never attended service but I bet it's quite nice. Beautiful church!
Here is a SHOUT OUT to the LGBTQ community looking for a church who loves you. This is a church that shows everyone the love of Christ. I hope you join us. We would love to see you and you won’t be disappointed.
Pr. Jen was a huge help to my family as my 94-year Mom transitioned from earthly to heavenly life. She was extremely supportive of my two special-needs siblings, even explaining the meaning of hospice to them. The service and homily were very personal and comforting. I can't thank Pr. Jen enough for being there for us.
St. John is a welcoming place. There are a wide range of ministries. There is a very active Youth Program, several Bible studies and a very busy food pantry.
