My husband and I went to our first social night and enjoyed it very much! Tacos & live music by the pool…perfect combo! I enjoyed a day swim today, but it was pretty cold. I would have loved to enjoy a night swim too though, but without a heated pool it’s too cold for me. Hopefully the pool will be heated in the near future?! It was great to see the office staff at the event as they are always so friendly. Looking forward to more events like this so my family can meet more people! Side note, when things need done the maintenance team is on top of it. We also love seeing everything get remodeled. We are very much enjoying our stay here! Thank you St. Augustine RV Resort for everything you do!
Have been here for three weeks over Christmas and new year’s. The resort is well managed. New sites are some of the best I have seen. Easy in and out and large patios. Of special note is illness over the holiday caused us to extend our stay. They were full. When informed of our situation the staff said do not be concerned we will figure it out Theresa made it happen. She figured a way for us to stay in our site as long as needed and kept us informed. If in the St Augustine area this is the place to stay. We will be back.
We enjoyed St. Augustine RV Resort very much. Our stay was for 3 weeks. The patios were lovely and the wifi was outstanding. My husband greatly appreciated it for work. There were plenty of children laughing, riding bikes and playing. There is plenty to do in St. Augustine which is 10 minutes from the campground. The campground sits far enough from the highway that it did not bother us. We can't wait to see what they add on to the campground. We really enjoyed our stay.
The campground doesn't worth $100 a night, smell like sewage, the bathrooms are old, the laundry room is dirty, the dog park is just a square fence without shade, or seating place. Yes it has a pool, not even umbrellas. VERY dessapointed. Yes, just wonder what would it have done differently the person at the office. I most agree that newest second face of your campground is absolutely beautiful as you described it, the first face, or older section of your campground no so much. Maybe you need to adjust your pricing according to what you can offer in each section of your campground.
A very nice park providing easy access to St. Augustine tourism. The pull-through sites are nicer than the older back-ins with paved patios and afternoon shade, but our back-in was good for our brief stay. They also have some buddy sites with common patios. The staff is very nice and the park amenities are lovely.Location: 5/5
We stayed here for the month of January and enjoyed it very much. Our site was on the new side; they are massive and very clean. Probably one of the nicest sites we've stayed at. The management was very accomodating and helpful. We have three kids under ten and although they don't have a playground yet they seemed to entertain themselves just fine. It's close to everything you want to do in St. Augustine. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!
This place DOES NOT like or welcome/ appreciate the youth. The campground has nothing to offer for families accept a “nice paved” lot. One of the owners who drives around slowly in a white SUV is the stereotypical “creeper”. He’s rude and so is “most” of the staff. There are a few ladies that are super sweet but for the most part the staff is not friendly. There are no activities or events that welcome the campers. It’s almost like you are walking on eggshells the whole entire time you are here thryinf to keep your kids quiet at 5pm and making sure your dog doesn’t bark AT ALL. We booked for 6 weeks and 2 days in we had multiple complaints about our children being loud. Yes they are loud we have a 3, 2 and 1 year old. Their quiet times are 10pm till 7am and my kids have never made noise during quiet times. They want to be a 55 and older community but are so new “even though they have an old ran down section” they are just taking in anyone, because their vision is catered to the 55 and a above community. They just want spots filled at this time, but in reality they don’t want to cater to families. This place is Awful!
We are going on 6 years of being a full-time RVing family with two kiddos and whenever we leave Florida or come back down for the winter we stop here for a week or so. We’ve experienced the standard sites and recently the newest addition. They definitely upped their game with the amenities. They now have a really nice clubhouse with a fitness room, a pool that sits lakeside, bocce ball, fenced in dog park, fire pits and large paved sites on the newer side. While there is no playground, we love to take our kiddos to Treaty Park about a 10 minute drive where they have an awesome skate park, playground and pickle-ball courts! This RV park is easy to get to and just about 7 miles to the historic city. I was surprised to see the 1-star reviews stating this park is not kid-friendly. This has NOT been our experience. One day we hope to grow roots in St. Augustine! Until then, we are grateful to have a campground in our favorite city that we love!
Excellent place. I’ve been camping for more than 20 years and this one I consider is the best one. Clean, great facilities, friendly and very helpful staff. Planning to come back.
Trash RV resort unless you're waiting for your ticket to heaven. Not family friendly whatsoever, only seem to cater to old folks. There's a reason Florida is called heaven's waiting room, and I think this place is ground zero! If you are a family and want fun activities and a welcoming environment, go elsewhere.
