St. Joseph Catholic School is the first K-8 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) School in Minnesota to utilize a SmartLab learning environment. We achieve a higher power of learning through faith-based 21st Century instruction, community involvement and many extra-curricular, co-curricular, and artistic activities. We strive to meet the spiritual, intellectual, physical and social-emotional needs of all learners.
How Our Students and Graduates Excel
-84% of our students exceed the national average in both Reading and Mathematics.
-80% of our 2016 8th grade graduates were placed in advanced math classes in area high schools.
-25% of our graduating 8th grade students were placed in Algebra II (double acceleration) at area High Schools.
-55% of our 8th grade graduates were placed in Geometry (1 yr. accelerated) as freshman.
-In 2016, 15% of our 7th and 8th grade students took the ACT College Entrance Exam and exceeded the national average of college bound seniors.
