Established in 1904 in historic downtown Brooklyn, St. Joseph High School was founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood, New York. The Sisters believed then, as they continue to believe today, that if you educate a woman, you educate a nation. Today, SJHS proudly serves 300 diverse young women of all faiths and backgrounds from all five boroughs of New York City.
