Regional ..I LOVE YOU...I absolutely love their service. And the staff is incredible. From the nurses to the doctor's. So nice & explain with detail when I have questions. Thank u so much for taking our health seriously.Everyone is friendly, the doctors are knowledgeable and they seem to love what they do. It’s always clean and inviting.
A beautiful regional hospital with healthcare for all. And today I stumbled upon this very beautiful garden. A gorgeous tribute to Saint Francis of Assisi and overseen by Saint Clare. Mass is celebrated at 11:00 most weekdays. see photo for chapel specifics
I have to get lab work done here multiple times per year. The staff is always friendly and interested in helping me get my labs done quickly. The cost is very affordable for me as I do not have insurance coverage. I highly recommend this facility for your out patient labs. Thankfully, I have never had to be admitted. Have a nice day!
Dr. Veazy is awesome, he has done two successful knee surgeries for our family. We are fortunate to have him practicing in our area. The staff nurses, anesthesiologists, and others were top notch! Taking time to make us feel at ease, knowledgeable explaining in terms we understood. We are proud to have these experts/professionals at St. Joseph's Hospital. Thank you all, may God bless you always.
After surgery and coming out of it. I was extremely rushed to get up and dressed. The nurse kept saying she has another patient. I live 2 hours out of town and felt I couldn’t even ask to use the rest room before I left because she was rushing to get me out. I wish she would have maybe gone over my exit release instead of telling me to get in the wheel chair because she has another patient…. I felt like a burden to her. The OR nurses, anesthesiologist and my check in nurse were wonderful. My check in nurse Kevin was great and helpful with any questions that myself or my husband had. The anesthesiologist really listened about my concerns with nausea and this was the first time I didn’t get sick… thank you !!
I had a fusion of my Cervical C3-C7 due to ruptured disc’s. My care was excellent with just 2 exceptions. After surgery the nursing staff was beyond complaints and their attitudes were beyond reproach. I was discharged on a Saturday afternoon, and the staff for the last shift I was there had a much to be desired attitude. They had come in that morning and showed no interest as to how I was doing and just left. The second time they came in I had to stop them from leaving and asked to be helped to the bathroom. I guess that since my 83 year old mother was there, they assumed she should be taking care of any needs I might have. The second disappointment was that although I received a very nice card from my surgical nurses, I never received a phone call after my discharge checking on me. In the past my husband and I use to get phone inquiries as to our recovery.
Brought my dad with a collapsed lung, the ER staff was nice and fast. They inserted a chest tube and started getting all the air out. After that we were transferred to a room where my dad has been waiting for 17 hrs to see the thoracic surgeon. The nurse doesn’t know when he’s coming in. She’s probably been to dads room like 5 times. It has been 17 hrs that they said he cant drink or eat anything. We are still waiting! 11/28/22 5:08 pm
I recently had spinal surgery, and entire process, pre-hospital telephonic visits, hospital intake, surgery, and speed of disposition, was extremely smooth. The whole process was more efficient than most prior primary care or dental visits I've had. Only took 4 hours in total, between arriving at the hospital, having surgery and going home. Even basic ER visits for minor issues take longer. I'm very impressed!!!
I went in to the er about 11 pm because my arm had been hurting so badly that I wasn't going to be able to sleep. I waited about15 to 20 minutes before being called back. The nurse was very empathetic and took vitals. The doctor was very professional and diagnosed me with bursitis. She had blood taken to make sure there was not any infection and gave me a shot for pain relief. I was there about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, which I felt was very reasonable. I was able to sleep and had a prescription for steroids.
The nurse i had was great… however the doctor was not. I knew i had strep as I’ve had it many times in my life and i was told by the doctor that i did not have it and instead had either Covid or mono… he couldn’t figure it out. He tested me for all three & all tests came back negative?? Then he urged me to get blood drawn. I left with no medicine & no answers and only feeling worse. I went to My primary doctor in Brenham 5 hours later and undeniably tested positive for strep… was given a penicillin shot and antibiotics and felt better the next day. This doctor at the urgent care did not listen to me & did not try to understand how i was feeling/my symptoms. He was pushy and rude & sent me on my way with nothing. Horrible. I will never ever ever go back here.
