The entire staff is slow and they don't seem to care about the patients at all. The nurse literally hurt my friend when putting in and taking out her IV. This is one of the worst ER's I've ever been. It's extremely slow paced and very laissez-faire attitude feel. This experience was horrible. Step your game up.
I just had out patient bunion surgery at St. Joseph's hospital. The surgeon was Dr. Kenneth Martin. The staff were extremely attentive, informative and competent. I had an excellent experience there.
This is one of the worst hospitals in the city of Philadelphia! They put patients in rooms with no telephone if they don't have cash money on the spot to pay for it by the day! When their family is far away, they can only contact the Nurses' station on the floor where their family member is admitted and they, who are mostly foreigners withOUT B.S.N degrees, leave family members on hold for long periods of time. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. Go to Temple around the corner, but it's best to go to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania HUP in West Philly.
The ER was really nice, efficiently run and the nurses were very good. It looks newly renovated. All of the staff is very friendly. I had a very good experience there.
I been here with my mom a few time and they seen us quickly and the service was great. The nurse were kind and very knowledgeable of what they doing.
The nurses were nice but I did not like that you do not see a doctor until the evening which means you will not be discharged until the next day
I am a return patient who is very satisfied with the nurses and doctors. I wish to thank St. Joseph's for the caring heart and a healing mind......
This is the worst hospital ever i went there in an ambulance cause i felt like i was dieing from smoking K2 yes i was wrong fr trying it but they treated me so bad they teased me told me i was a junkie the shub me my pills didnt wanna tell me what kind of pills they was i kept begging them for privacy to close the curtain they refuse they they force the oxygen mask on my face every one except one lady was professional they mucked me for hours my breast was showing n they still wouldn't put the curtain up they billing lady she didn't tell me her name she was trying to have say my socail security number n still didn't give me privacy they all acted like i was a a enemy the way they was acting i was really scare they was telling me i was at Drexel hospital smh n didn't even want me to have my phone they yelled at me n i was being as calm n nice as always the worst night off my life n I've been robbed by knife point
I was there last night was went to the restroom and had a seizure when they found me they got me out of there as fast as they come said i was faking and i just wanted a bed for the night because I am homeless i went there to get help because I was really thanking about killing myself if your homeless or depressed or both don't go they will treat you like trash i have epilepsy i don't fake a seizure because they are serious and can kill you i give them miness one star
St joseph emergency dept is the most caring compassionate and professional environment that I have ever experienced in Philadelphia
