Great nurses and staff. Came here for my ultrasound and it went smoothly. My OB doctor delivered all of my babies here. Right now with Covid you have to take your temperature and answered a few questions before they let you go in.
I called to schedule an MRI and was blessed to be assisted by Pamela L. She was so knowledgeable and validated my concerns. She was so kind and compassionate and I felt she really cared about me and my situation. She helped me schedule the earliest MRI and made sure I understood and all my questions were answered. Pamela L is an outstanding employee and a wonderful human being. I wish there were more people like her in the world. St Joe’s Pontiac is lucky to have such an exceptional employee. Thank Pamela.
I spent a month in ICU and a month on4G. All the nurses and docs were the best. Thorough care and info sometimes u had to ask for specifics but they're dealing with alot of patients. Be ur own advocate. They saved my life, and i had my own room. Be patient with the food, but there's so many options and it was pretty good to me. Over All, good experience for an extended hospital stay. Thank you !
Worst experience at a hospital ever. My sister wasn't taken seriously at all and the security guard tried to force us to leave before we could explain her symptoms since she wasn't able to speak. The nurses were all rude except for Theresa, everyone else acted like our emergency was a personal slight against them. I understand if they didn't want to work on Thanksgiving but do not take that out on patients and their concerned family members. If they treat everyone this way, then I see many lawsuits in their future. I'd rate this place zero stars if I could.
My wife had an excellent experience at St Joseph Trinity. She was admitted for 9 days, and everyone there took great care of her. In a place where no one 'wants' to be, we were glad she ended up here!
Worse Emergency Room nurses at the front desk. Treating you like you are a bad person for even being there. Had to take my grandma 2 times this week and both times met with rudness for no reason. If they don't like thier job may e they should be doing something else. I could understand if we had been ruse to them but both times they literally are rude right of the bat. And then I when said something about it the lady literally argued with me about it. Honestly shouldn't be working with people at all. And after reading the other reviews they treat everybody like this. Which is sad. If my grandmas doctors weren't based with them I would tell her we are going someplace different
I understand hospitals/ER's are understaffed, but after our recent visit, I would never trust St. Joseph's care with anyone in my family ever again. We went in July 26th, for a 10 hour visit only to be discharged with weakness went in with low heart rate, high bp, dizzy and shortness of breath. The discharging nurse, shrugged telling us the weakness discharge instructions. She knew it was wrong and not the reason we were there, but discharged us with weakness notes and nothing else. We left with still a high blood pressure, low heart rate and the ER Dr. tells us to go off of one of my husbands bp meds. Basically, it was a you pick one kind of discussion. I questioned why go off of a bp med when his bp is high and he said they can effect the heart rate. Turns out, what he told us to go off of, does not effect the heart rate. I paged our PCP from St. Jo's parking lot, to be told which of his meds could effect heart rate and to go off of it.
My father spent a week in the hospital. I called and tried to talk with a nurse, left my name and number several times and never once received a phone call from staff. I called the complaint line and they said they would make sure my fathers nurse gave me a call, that never happened. I would never recommend this hospital.
I had a hysterectomy Oct.4th and everyone from start to finish was amazing. Dr. Henzie and all the staff were caring and made me feel at ease before surgery. Thank you so much!
