Worst bank in the universe! Lobby closes at 2, and every time I try and deposit money into my mom's account for her they find some ridiculous issue with the check. Don't they want money deposits??? You are better off stuffing your money in a mattress.
I have been with them for over ten years and up until recently, everything was great. As far as operations goes, they are great. But their customer service has really declined. Tellers have nasty attitudes and do not want to help resolve issues. I can remember calling about an issue and I offered to send the lady a copy of what I was seeing and she refused to even try to look up what I was seeing then she hung the phone up in my face as I was talking. Someone from this bank called me about an issue and cut me off as I was trying to explain. Just today, a teller caught an attitude with me because I couldn't hear what she said on the intercom. Honestly they are a great bank for operations but the customer service is no longer of the quality it used to be. Update: I am no longer a customer. One of the best decisions I ever made
Absolutely aweful place.. There's much deception, rule bending and law breaking inside this organization. The not enough space to type the problems we've had with them. When we caught on to some of the illegal things they were doing, and following their own rules, bending federal regulations at there will, we brought it up to the president. Next day they closed out acct gave us a check for 21k and told us they didn't want us there, then the president slammed the door in my face.. luckily I was able to document several of these violations, to later send to the State attorney generals office and sec.. can you believe that the compliance guy who is supposed to make sure they are in accordance with federal law, is the VPs son? Hmmm think he really looks out for the best interest of the clients ???
I can not think of anything that St. Landry Bank & Trust Company can improve on for the future. I highly recommend their services to both family and friends. In addition, I will continue to use their services in the future because being prompt is key in the banking industry.
As a result of St. Landry Banks new policies you can expect to no longer be allowed purchases from international companies despite the fact they all operate within the US. Adidas, Sony, Mojang, Lego and Spotify are just a few examples. I for one and proud of our corporate overlords for telling me what I can and can not legally purchase.
Switch from this bank to a large bank. Mom and pop bank isn't the way to go.
I have been a client of St. Landry Bank for about six years and I have always been satisfied with the services they provide. I never have to wait long for any transaction or response.
Mrs. Marceline was very helpful in resolving my issue.
This is how banking should be! Family like customer service that takes care of it's clients!
