I was really impressed with the Daniel Boone Clarkson library. The staff were helpful and polite. The children's section was huge and books were organized by subject and age. There was a "discovery section" complete with a wooden playhouse, an indoor slide, lots of tables with puzzles, building blocks and other educational activities. They also have computers and interactive large screen games and books for the kids. The upper floor was also very clean and well organized.
This library is top notch. Very clean , the employees are very helpful and with a smile on there face. This place is ran like a well oiled machine. It's very inviting and it's nice to know the employees are nice. Makes it easy on all aspects of coming here. Thank you for caring.
St louis county Library's are the best in the country! Books, dvds, Bluray, board games, Xbox1x, switch and Ps5 games.
Impressively nice library with children's library, complete with play area, in the downstairs. Adult reading materials and study/meeting rooms in upstairs. Very up to date facility with robotic book return and clean bathrooms. Always busy with patrons of all ages browsing books and studying. Have not had any issues with people loitering here. Great book, movie, and game selection. Can even check out education equipment like telescopes! Helpful and friendly librarians.
Always a great display of "latest" and other recommended reads. Staff always helpful. Staff seems to enjoy being there and helping people.
likes: - kind and helpful staff - diverse landscaping that is nice to look at, and undoubtedly the wildlife loves it too - all the general benefits of the SLCL dislikes: - the very cold AC in the summer - the lack of sound insulation from the kids area - the Quiet Room faces a busy road, so you hear and see the cars, which is distracting to me
One of our family's favorite places to visit. Great book selection and helpful librarians who go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for.
The St Louis County Library is one of the best in the country. The newly expanded and remodeled Daniel Boone Branch is their busiest location. Amazing the things you can check out of the library these days. It's not just books. Telescopes, fishing poles, hot spots, activity sets, jigsaw puzzles, board games. . .
We love this branch! So happy classes are opening up again soon. The children’s section is awesome and there’s always a wide variety of books.
Well put together and clean facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Downstairs there's a neat play area for kids comparable imo to the magic house. Extensive collection of books music and even some video games. Can't recommend this place enough.
