Since moving to STL in 1995, I’ve always had good experiences with County Police. Tonight, Officer Jim Barry stopped to make a purchase from my 6 year old daughter who was selling her art at the curb. He was engaging and kind. My daughter, Cora, is so excited to tell everyone that a police officer stopped and purchased a piece of her art. She wants to call her mother—who is in Sweden at the moment—to share. Officer Barry need my daughters night. Thank you. In addition, he’s also the officer who put down our garage door one night we left it up. Thank you again, Officer Barry.
I made a call for the police to check on the wellness of an elderly relative at 9:30 pm. The dispatcher was kind, polite and efficient. An officer was sent before I hung up the phone and arrived within minutes. Thank you all for your professionalism and quick response.
Evidently my review was changed because I sincerely try never to take my God's name in vain. I was hurt horribly by the County police. And I truly believe women in STL deserve great respect. OMG is right. They shattered me, as I begged for assistance. I hope respect for women becomes stronger and carries weight.
So someone sleeping in their car gets run off, and yet the beggars sluffing off plle at union and Reavis and the highway exits with qt cups as they trash the restrooms r free to go. Fu
Besides the fact every time I go for security renewals or anything there it’s one of the slowest experiences of my life as there are normally one or two people there. My main problem stems from how money hungry these people are. They’re never able to help you only take from you. The security office here feels sleazy.
This is one Fine Establishment, They Have Speedy Service and in st louis county if my friends get arrested i am always there with plenty of bond money right away!!!!! if prolly not tho lol
Everyone has bad experiences with the police one way or another. It happens, but who is perfect? God only knows all, sees all and hears all. I had negative experience and injustice was placed in my life. But, just so happened Jesus had changed my heart, heard my prayer, gave me new perspective and even used 1 of the many officers who came into my life as a reason for spiritual change on my own. To where I was suddenly aware I was taught wrong in my church, and through the cop, the holy spirit started giving me bible scriptures and teaching me himself, which I missed out on 20 years of my life sitting in Church. I can't give thanks to that cop for banning me from church and those who told me to stay away from that place, enough. It used to hurt, but it's now what Jesus has done for me through that mess, because it turned into a 4,000 word/7 page sermon from Jesus. It was certainly through police that changed my perspective and enlightened my life. I have much gratitude and respect for the police no matter what. JESUS!
I had my property confiscated from the police while I was at school not only that but they took my machine and my phone when I needed them the most so for 2 weeks from ending my semester they made my life hell for my finals and my projects. Not only that but the detective in charge of my case was keeping in contact with me and for some reason she just stopped. she stopped answering my calls and my emails its been about 7 months since I have heard from her or anyone else about my case. so in the mean time I had to purchase a new computer and a new phone for school. I have yet to hear an update on my items. Very unsatisfied you scare me and then you ghost me holding onto my property in a vault ignoring my crys for help. There is plenty more i can go on about but it defeats the point, and they wonder why we don't trust them.
Had one of your officers tailgate my wife and I for a good mile on our way to work this morning. Had our little baby in the car trying to sleep while your officer's lights shined down our necks. Good job, great social skills! Way to make the nieghborhood feel welcome and safe!
Very upset at what happened the other day. I didn't note the date If I knew that I would be able to offer this review I would have and hopefully then there may have been a way to identify the driver but it was at 5:45 AM on I-270 right before Lindbergh heading east. I was probably over the limit myself staying with traffic when a Saint Louis County car went by so fast with no lights that I was angry. Police speed sometimes but this person was way, way over and I know because I tried to catch up just enough to get the plate number but I got up to eighty and the car was still pulling away. I let the car slow down when another Saint Louis Car came by me and hit the lights to get my attention to....obviously get me to slow down and then proceeded speeding himself. I guess I didn't get a ticket because they may have been responding but if I am going eighty and a car is pulling away still how fast is that. Even when I sped up the car was going so fast I had no chance to see the plates. I understand there are times when something very bad may be happening but why no lights? The second car had no lights on and only turned them on to slow me down and then turned them back off. I just wished I had been able to make out the plates and should consider myself lucky to not have received a ticket because that is how things often work.
