A very peaceful and quiet park in the middle of the city. Lots of trees for shade and keeping the area cool. Pretty insulated from the more intense sounds of the city. It's a clean, nice looking park that I'd recommend for picnic purposes, or finding I bit of solitude.
Went here at night on a bike ride. The park was peaceful, and the history is really cool. There was also 6-10 wheelie kids on dirt bikes ripping through the park doing wheelies. They did a number to the grass tore it up pretty bad. A lady that was there sitting in the park bench called 911. She was visibly scared. They told her that they don’t respond to dirt bikes due to liability. The wheelie kids in their dirt bikes didn’t cause any human harm but they did tear the park up pretty good. One of the kids actually stopped cause I was video taping him. He told me that he was sponsored by monster energy. He also told me that he is from LA.
This is the second time I've been here. It's a very spacious park where the Baltimore bike party meets up. The sprawling park features a free brick corner with fountain. I was glad they have trash cans for waste disposal. Seems like a cool place to cook when the crowds from the bike party are gone. It seems very peaceful here.
This hidden gem in the middle of the city always leaves me feeling calm, with a well maintained green space that delivers from season to season. Depending on the time of day, you might find yourself in the midst of a festive, citywide bike tour or a cozy neighborhood gathering, all taking place in the park. So happy to see signs of an organized neighborhood presence taking pride in their neck of the woods.
This is one of my favorite parks in the City of Baltimore. Beautiful grounds, flowering trees and lush grass, and full brick walking paths leading to a historical site. Bring the kids and the pets for a visit. I think you will be amazed to find such a hidden gem inside Baltimore City.
Beautiful & breathtaking takes u out of the city while u are there!!! Great place for romantic walks, playing w/ your doggies, letting your kids run out their energy...just very nice and the grounds are cared for lovingly...it shows : stop by and bring a book one fall afternoon, or a journal and let the beauty help you meditate

As long as it's stil light outside, this park is nice for a walk or a little running around. It would be nice if they would come clean up more often because there's drug paraphernalia left on the ground. Other than that it's a nice spot to relax outdoors.
A great park to see and remember the beauty that Baltimore has to offer on any sunny day. I love to see the bikers, of all backgrounds, meet here for the annual ride around the city. And the French Festival I attended a few years ago was awesome!
Not a whole lot to it but it was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Would visit again. The locals like to walk their dogs here. It is a nice place
