St. Michaels Hospital

My husband has had three kidney stone operations at this hospital. Our, Dr. Jason Pickelman, has performed these operations with great care and knowledge. The outcome with the doctor and this hospital with these surgeries have been a blessing. The hospital has given the best care of any place we have every had medical needs. The nurse, Tessa, was caring for my husband latest surgery. Tessa was kind, caring, knowledgeable, a great sense of humor. The entire staff and St. Michael Health System are great. The entire staff is always caring the system they have in place that notifies the family members every step of the way is wonderful in all the places we have visited we have never had such great care and attention to life's matters.

Thank you 5 south and the Great doctors at St. Michaels!! They saved my one leg!! The staff was very attentive and professional! Especially Thanks to Buck an overnight RN andJessica a nurses aid for their kindness and empathy!! I here they have something like a Sunshine award and I hope her boss will see this review and consider giving this award to Buck and Jessica.. What a group!! Thank you, Gary Tompkins

Went to the emergency because of abdominal/pelvic pain while in the second trimester of my pregnancy and Dr. Owens Michael J was my doctor. He seemed like he didn’t care at all! He didn’t take a urine nor a blood sample to determine what was causing my pain! He gave me no medication and just told me it was gas!!! I was sent home! The next day same pain so I went to my hospital Wadley and come to find out I had BV that required a 7 day antibiotic! My unborn child and I both could’ve been in danger! Makes no sense he didn’t take my symptoms serious! Dr.Owens Michael J. You should be ashamed of yourself!

I had outpatient surgery for Carpal Tunnel on January 19, 2023. Dr. Steven Porter performed the surgery and did an absolutely excellent job. It's been 3 days and I still have not experienced any pain whatsoever. Every person on my care team treated me with the utmost respect and gave me excellent care. From my pre-surgery appointment and forward I have had an excellent experience. I highly recommend Christus St Michael hospital for this procedure.

Pre op Surgery nurses awesome. Surgery went great. Recovery not so good. Rushed by Tilley. They needed room, so opted to stay night, so pain meds could be administered. Third floor surgery floor nurses NOT. Male RN never came in & introduced himself. Requesting pain meds from 9:30-2:30 was too long of a stretch. Nurses aid never introduced herself. In fact we felt very uncomfortable so we checked out. Let them have their cold; non hospitable selves!

I had a stent installed and I cannot praise everyone enough at St Micheals Texarkana. From the checkin to the dismissal, I have no complaints. The check in ladies Bettywere efficient, and friendly. The pre-op nurses got me ready for the procedure, continuing the friendly, but do the job atmosphere! The stent room was outstanding. Drs Patel and Robinson and the stent staff did their job effortlessly and skillfully. Robert took care of me in the recovery room with assistance from Cindy, who kept me laughing! I did spend a night and again I was treated with care! First, Daniel saw to my needs during the night. He was super! Alli took over in the morning and she was a hoot! She got me ready for dismissal , always checking if there was a need. So, I can’t praise the hospital and staff enough.

Only giving a star to post review this hospital don't deserve it. Ambulance took me in at about 8am.with chest and stomach pains spent all day in er and still they said all they could do is set me up with a cardiologist and sent me home still with chest and stomach pains,instead of admitting me and running more tests. I RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE ELSE GO TO WADLEY IF YOU HAVE CHEST PAINS!!!

came in jan 22 for laceration on my thumb bleeding profusely, did not know how deep it was. had to come here because it was late in the morning, this hospital was my only resort that was open 24hr and near us. worst mistake i’ll ever make. awful service, staffs were rude and snarky towards my laceration saying “oh it’s not that deep” and waiting 2+ hours for a glue that came off the next day! but whatever, my thumb was okay n nothing too much of a bill later right? WRONG!! just billed a thousand dollars for a cut that was barely two inches!!?? im willing to pay a couple hundred sure why not but A THOUSAND? my money going to a hospital with rude and unprofessional doctor and staffs that did nothing but belittled me for coming here?... awful place. if i was in dire need of medical attention and this was the only hospital left in the world, i’d rather accept my fate and succumb to my condition than ever stepping here again.

Would give no stars if I could. This hospital use to be the greatest. I forbid anyone to go to this place for any type of health issue. I don’t know what has happened to St. Michael’s, but I can say, you never get to see a real MD or DO. All you can see is a nurse practitioner. And the one I seen today was the rudest & has no idea what she is doing. I wish the administration was please look into this & do something.

This place is awesome, from times to professionals, my nurse faith was absolutely amazing with my daughter and her doctor Bennett was amazing as well, never needed to call them for anything because they came and checked on my daughter all the time and made sure we just had everything we needed, I can’t be thankful enough
