As part St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church's outreach to its community, our Church decided to develop a full day child care center over 1999 - 2000. Research had shown that there were many working parents who greatly needed this type of facility within the community — not only as a caring place for their children, but as a Center with programs enhancing childrens' learning experiences as well.
St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church has established this program on its own, working closely with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. What has evolved is a fully licensed facility on the ground floor of the Church that not only meets the rigorous standards of this Department, but in many instances exceeds its requirements. Ours is intended to be a smaller private facility which allows closer personal attention for all our children. At St. Paul's we believe we have developed a very caring and compassionate Center, and have a very experienced Director along with other Staff fulfilling our own requirements for a superior community offering.
St. Paul’s Child Care Center provides for the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual growth of children, consistent with Christian principles, in a safe and healthy environment.
