St. Theresa Specialty Hospital is an LTACH or Long Term Acute Care Hospital. We provide care to medically complex patients whose planned stay in the hospital is usually intended to be 25 days or longer (with some exceptions). We have two convenient locations in Metairie and Kenner. We provide ventilator weaning and other respiratory services, long-term IV antibiotics, complex wound care, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and nutritional support to our patients.
