St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store offers exceptional bargains and affordable shopping options on gently used clothing, furniture and household goods. SVdP specializes in clean, affordable mattresses, box springs and bed frames.
In addition, SVdP in GR works with local agencies to accommodate particularly needy clients with free home furnishings or clothing. In order to receive emergency clothing or furniture, a referral from a selected list of local social service agencies or a SVdP Church Conference is required.
SVdP works with several agencies on workforce development and supports employees in retail, warehouse, sorting, floor management, and cashiering positions.
In an effort to keep Grand Rapids clean, SVdP recycles, clothing, toys, shoes, belts, purses, electronics, cardboard and paper.
To assist those who are in transition from homelessness with dignity and respect.
