This is a wonderful secret for the thrifting community! They have a little of everything! Clothes, housewares, holiday, furniture new and used, antiques, sporting goods, and more. You have to check it out for yourself! They really were a surprise with all the things they have in their and their prices were better than some other thrift shops around town too! The only thing they needed was another checkout person as the line was a little long, but it WAS a dreary Saturday afternoon… what else would you do on a chilly autumn day?!
Nice second hand store. Prices were decent. Good selection.
This was only my 3nd time at your store. The first 2 were shopping, and this 3rd time my daughter actually bought a very nice 3 piece sectional & needed help getting it home. Thankfully her dad, my husband had his work truck at home and was able to fit all 3 pieces into the cab if the truck with the help of one of your attendant's. Very nice & friendly young man. Although we had brought my son in law, who's on leave from the Army.. He really didn't have to do much. . We my daughter & I loaded the pillows and cushions into our cars and off we went. I must say her new apt is looking very nice with this almost new piece. Thank you.
This place is waaaaay overpriced. Bought a book with an 80 cents pricetag on it and when I took it to the register I was told that it wasn't one of their pricetags. She gave me a hard time, like I was the one who took off the tag, then charged me $5 for the book. It was small and LITERALLY falling apart with a pricetag for less than a dollar. Somebody bought that book for .80 and donated it. They got it for FREE and then charged over 500% markup on it. All of their merchandise is completely over priced. I would not have gotten the book if the person I was with didn't want it. For anyone reading this, goodwill has books not falling apart for a dollar. Hard covers. Bethesda has lots of nice things for reasonable prices. There are many other thrift stores in town with nicer things for better prices. Give your business to them.
This use to be a good store, until new management took over. Now they take all the good merchandise and hoard it in the back room. Then sell the quality items online, and leave local customers with overpriced junk.
my wife and I went there. we love this store
The non-profit that touts that they help people in need, is wrong. I'm 5 months pregnant, high risk, and they turned me down. I'm scared of being homeless again and losing my baby and they just don't care! I'd give like...a hundred negative stars if I could.
Very organized, clean and well stocked. Employees were friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable, found some good "stuff"!
Overpriced items. Seems like they are using eBay for pricing in which most of the eBay sellers overpriced them. This thrift is not price friendly. I would rather add a little more and get the items new which you’re guaranteed all pieces are there in very good working condition.
I always find the coolest stuff for the best deals. Thank you great volunteers and staff!
