The staff here are very helpful and friendly. The store has very affordably priced adult diapers and pull-ups in different brands and can get you what you need for yourself or loved ones. They also have very cheap clothes and shoes.
We have had several graduation parties here. We are having my mother in laws 80 th b day here Saturday. They have al ot of space and allow alcohol. They have a bar set up and a full kitchen. As a side note they have a good will store upstairs . They charge 50 dollar deposit. The whole hall for the night is 200. You can fit up to 250 people in the hall with limited tables easy. You can have a seated event of 100 to 120 easy. There is a full parking lot that is free. There is an atm in the lot at a bank and there is a gas station across the street. I recommend this place for an event.
Once in a while you'll find something really great. Large furniture section. Appliance area is kind of crappy with old, junky stuff. Lots of plates, bowls, china. Tons of clothes. But... how they can sell used panties and bras... very gross. Large selection of vinyl records if you're a buff.
I have been coming to this store for about 10 years now. Staff was always wonderful and I found treasures over the years. Twice now I have been harassed by a worker because I cannot wear a mask due to my health issues. She was rude, demeaning and down right heartless on the way she spoke to me. I tried my best to explain why I cannot wear one and she just kept over speaking me and being so rude. She brought me to tears. The first time I had another customer and another worker approach me after the incident and they were both stunned by how she acted and what she said to me. The second time she wouldn't even let me through the door. I have been there multiple times without a mask and the staff is very nice to me. This one particular woman is, God bless her, one of the nastiest women I've ever encountered in my life. I will pray for her.
-Update Below- Bought a beautiful table and chairs here for extremely cheap! The staff was very sweet and insisted on taking the table apart for us. I also bought a beautiful set of dishes for around $10! UPDATE: The last time I was here, I had such a good experience! Everyone was so friendly and sweet! I don't know if it's the holidays or what but this time, everyone was so irritable, customers and employees. It was like everything you did and every move you made irritated somebody for whatever reason. Eye rolls and stares everywhere. I don't know why you guys were so crabby today, but I hope it doesn't happen again!
Overpriced furniture. Not just my opinion. Too many people said so. This is an opinion of what I have overheard. About the prosecution of a few people who have been going through their drop-off items. Questions arose to that.. 1: were they too poor to buy themselves, or just resellers looking for big ticket items? 2: Using the name of St. Vincent himself. He was renowned for his compassion, humility and generosity. You now have to give a DNA sample before you can donate anything. Plan an afternoon just readings signs about the donation of any kind of item. It went from the "you are on camera, to no furniture in front, put in back, to ony business hours, no holiday items, and no donations at all now" . I asked for boxes a few times and noticed that in front they throw way in their 30 foot dumpster way too many usuable items. But they had the same junk for sale in the same place for many years. I'm not sure how, why, where, and etc.. But just a little stumped, n to save people time..
I did not like this store,no one greeted you or even asked you if you needed help,it's like you were not even there. I and another person, walked into a small hallway with a few rooms and one of employees which was very rude said to us that's the office, and said you don't belong here. The hallway with the rooms, had no signs or any anything saying office. One of the customers said that lady was rude, And said I will not be back here. I don't think any one should be treated that way, particularly in a store that is a religious charity. I visit a lot of thrift stores, and have never been treated like that. I will never come back to this store again.
They like helping ppl and items low cost I like them better than Goodwill their prices are more reasonable Goodwills just outrageous anymore like they're a new store selling new things. Staff is friendly..
