Sad to leave a negative review, but we were disappointed with our experience, and unfortunately, they wouldn't make the situation right. Within a month of buying our couch the pilling was worse than I've ever seen - so bad it's uncomfortable to sit on and embarrassing when we have people over. We tried everything, but it's impossible to get rid of. We have no pets or kids, so there wasn't any external cause. The management was curt, didn't respond to emails, and eventually had someone leave a voicemail telling us it wasn't covered in our warranty. We would never have bought the couch had we known this would happen.
Never Ever Ever Ever shop here. Rick Stacy... the man himself argued toe to toe with my 80 year old grandmother about covering the shipping on her warranty claim. Rick said, "We use a third party shipping company, so someone has to pay them!" She was shaking with anger and stress by the end of it. He finally agreed to split it with her. I will NEVER buy from this POS, and I tell everyone I can to stay away. My grandmother has since passed, but that memory will never leave me. Rick Stacy is pure trash in my mind.
They actually had a pretty decent selection of items. Obviously some were floor models in one of the main Stacy locations, so they aren't perfect, but I didn't see anything that was broken, busted, or obviously damaged, which is what one usually sees at furniture outlets imo. We found a gorgeous desk at an unbelievable price and a small set of drawers to go with it. Got a free piece of art since our purchase was over $1000 and arranged for delivery of the desk. Delivery is only $50! We had no issue with no one greeting us, as this isn't that kind of location. Once we found what we wanted, the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive in getting us checked out and getting the piece we took home wrapped and in our car. We would definitely shop here again.
Had an amazing experience today. Travis was super helpful. He actually super impressed me by how he helped another customer regarding changing upholstery on the bar stools she was interested in. He included the upholstery services that Stacy uses or offers which included advising the customer that she could bring her own fabric, approximate time for work, and showed her the ease of removing the seat cushions. I was super impressed by his knowledge and desire to fully educate the customer on her choices. He also helped me as well with current stock, current color options, etc....
My friend wanted to look for furniture while I was visiting her in Dallas area, so we stopped at Stary Furniture &Design. When we first pulled up, we couldn't tell if the place was open, but realized it was. My initial thought, the furniture looked old and out -dated and pricey. The salesman was very helpful in answering questions. Gave a 2 star because of the salesman cheeriness.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I just visited this outlet store on 5/25/2019 at 12:30 pm Sat. I'm actually in the parking lot completing this review. When I walked into this outlet, I saw a man at the front desk. I didn't get a greeting from him. As I proceeded to walk around the store, no one asked to assist me and I was the only one in the store for a few minutes. As I was leaving, I saw a white couple walk in and a sales associate stood up from his chair and greeted the couple as they walked into the store. I saw one item that interested me, but it wasn't that enticing to buy especially with lackluster customer service. The couple that got the perky greeting from the sales associate walked out right after me and didn't buy anything either. Interesting.
This is both the outlet and the pickup location for other Stacy's locations. We came in for a pick up. It's first come first serve, but they only had one customer before us. The staff was extremely friendly. We walked to floor and sat on all the sofas while we waited maybe 20 minutes for the previous customer to finish and for them to go pick our furniture. We just walked in with no prior call.
Definitely an outlet atmosphere. I had such a great time because the salesman was so nice. He had answers to all my questions and let me look around with no pressure. Come with your measurements for what you need. The selection changes so if you don't see what you want the first time, keep going back.
A little pricey, descent selection. No one was around to greet me. As a matter of fact, I did not see anyone until I was getting ready to leave 20 minutes later. He was nice.
I may update this review when I can actually get into this place. Drove out here only to find the doors locked... even though on Google, they show as being open. Notice the door sign says Fri, Sat, Sun. I call just in case and get a greeting of "Please be aware of our NEW hours". Would be nice if you updated your information on Google so someone doesn't waste time driving all the way out.
