Love playing here. Not too challenging, and there isn't much to think about. Don't get punished too much for mistakes. Everyone I've gotten paired with has been fun to play with. They take great care of the course, and even when it's been raining, the place has great drainage. Nice driving range. Prices are very fair, and it's walkable which makes it even more affordable.
Played 18 today. Pros: - overall course condition is great - tee boxes are good - fairways are good -greens are questionable only because apparently fixing a ball mark is not heard of here. Multiple greens had 30+ ball marks not even touched Cons: - starter didn’t enforce starting on the back 9 causing bunch up when our group made the turn. - tee times are way to close together, you can tell the course is just pushing people out there way to quick to make the most money over quality and enjoyment of play. - cart dude drives around without consideration to play Overall: without the above average condition, this course would not be worth the play.
This place is a treasure in the heart of Schenectady. The course conditions are hard to believe when you recognize the volume this place handles. Tees, fairways and greens all in pristine shape in August! Quite remarkable. Give it a try! You will not be disappointed.
Played July 4th, course was in acceptable shape - the greens were in really good shape considering the amount of play this place gets. I would’ve rated higher if the pro shop was stocked better no shoes available for purchase.
Course is open and in great condition that’s about all the good things I can say. Staff and operations is awful. Starter is extremely rude older guy and gets quite the power trip shouting out of his little shack window. Apparently getting to the tee box 10 mins early is too late for him and resulted in bag/cooler checks as well. I’ve never in my life had a starter actual check my belongings. The final straw was getting pushed to the back 9 after booking tee times for the front 3 straight times playing here with no explanation given what so ever. I’m done with course. Bring in the bulldozers and put up those housing units instead.
Not a tough course but fun to play. Drains well and the course was in nice shape. People played with in the past have been very fun
Played yesterday with hubby and brother in law we had a great time, the course was in great condition
Playing on memorial day weekend. Cart service ended at 4 with no notice, club house had last call at 530. Course was fine but service was very disappointing
Well maintained course. Not very challenging though. Tee times are at 7 minute intervals, so expect a slow round.
Really good place for beginning golfers. Not a lot of areas that will penalize you if you don’t hit the fairway. Love their driving range. Hate how slow it can be.
