Beginning April 1, 2009, Staite Insurance will have many new discounts and improved discounts that we can offer our customers.
We are happy to announce that the Multi-Car Discount has been increased from 5% to 8%.
The Low Mileage Discount has also been increased from 10% to 12%. This discount applies to customers that drive less than 5,000 miles a year.
We currently are offering a special AAA discount to all AAA card carrying customers. This includes giving you a 4% discount on your ENTIRE policy and special advantages if in an accident. The longer you have had a membership with AAA the better the rate you will be eligible for.
In addition to the AAA discount, a Good Student Discount of 10% will be given to all full time students, providing they have a B average or better. We can apply this discount on to the policy during a renewal period, or when starting a new policy.
Commerce has also has added a Student Away From Home discount. This discount would save 10% for operators that have been driving less than three years, and it would save 15% for operators that have been driving less than six years but more than three. This discount is for students that are studying at least 100 miles away from home.
Another new discount being offered is the Shop Smart Discount. This discount saves you 6% on your policy. This discount applies to New Business policies only which are submitted at least 7 days prior to the policy effective date (the date when you policy starts). Eligible policyholders must have prior insurance with a company other than Commerce, for at least six months, with no prior lapse in coverage. This discount can be combined with the AAA discount for a total of 10% off your policy.
A Commerce Loyalty Discount is also new to our customers. We can now offer loyal policy holders a discount on their renewal automobile insurance at the following levels:
2% - Beginning in the 4th year of uninterrupted coverage with Commerce
2% - Beginning in the 5th year of uninterrupted coverage with Commerce
3% - Beginning in the 6th year of uninterrupted coverage with Commerce
3% - Beginning in the 7th year of uninterrupted coverage with Commerce
4% - Beginning in the 8th year of uninterrupted coverage with Commerce
And lastly the Commerce Homeowner's Account Discount offers a discount of 5% to its Private Passenger Automobile Policy holders who also insure their home with Commerce, or the Massachusetts FAIR Plan, Barnstable Mutual, Chubb, Horace Mann, Narragansett Insurance, or Tower Insurance.
Staite Insurance offers an easy payment plan with a minimum of 12% down payment on new policies.
We also gladly replace cancelled insurance and offer financing for everyone.
Staite insurance has convenient on site registry service. We give you plates while you wait. We always have plates for Private Passenger vehicles, as well as motorcycles, always on hand.
Not only do we have plates in the office, but we can also renew your registration.
