Stamford Hospital/ Darien Imaging Center

Very convenient. Professional, caring and a great facility. Some of the bad reviews deterred me to make an appointment here, but I took the leap of faith due to the proximity and convenience. I was very satisfied and had a positive experience.

Horrific, awful, terrible experience with this entire organization. Run screaming from this place. There are other more compassionate radiology studios that will take better care of you – find one, go there – stay as far as you can from Disgusting Darien Imaging Center. I had a mammography and an abdominal ultrasound performed on the same day. They promise same day film reads when you book your appointment and tell you it's not possible when you arrive. Six other women in the waiting room were informed of this after me. Why lie about this? It’s ridiculous. The mammography tech left me in the changing room for 50 minutes after the scan. I sat for nearly an hour, in my paper shirt, wondering what awful diagnosis I would ultimately get because why else would this take so long? I’d still be there hand I not gone looking for her - twice. Her response? “Oops, I guess we forgot about you.” I’ve undergone dozens of abdominal ultrasounds in my life. This. Was. The. Worst. Horrific tech, who caused pain for the first time during one of these procedures, ever. This procedure typically takes 20 minutes – it took her 1 hour and 20 minutes. Finally, they are committing fraud. As with most insurance providers, mine will pay fully for treatment obtained at stand-alone establishments that do NOT bill as part of a hospital. I know this. I asked this. I asked again. I asked a third time and three times was assured that Disgusting Darien Imagining was in fact a stand-alone facility. Surprise! It’s not! My $700 bill came 3 weeks later. Insurance covered none of it because . . . . . Disgusting Darien Imaging bills as part of Stamford Hospital. I have no idea how a medical facility charged with providing care to its clients can, from beginning to end, treat their patients so badly – and unilaterally so. If there’s any other place to which you can go for treatment, you should do so. Avoid this place like the plague. Disgusting Darien Imagine is run like an SNL skit and I truly am concerned that, given what I’ve experienced, my care was also sub-standard. Seriously, go elsewhere.

Waited over an hour for an X-Ray while there were no other patients do not go here

The worst. They cut the patient going into the MRI machine and the patient emerged bleeding. They put error after error in the report. MRI had to be redone elsewhere. This is the worst radiology center imaginable.

I went to get a ultrasound and was extremely nervous about it and the nurse/tech Ana was so kind and calmed my nerves and knows a lot about what she does! She was great! Everyone was kind and very helpful.

Excellent staff ... went for MRI ... hated idea but technical folks make me comfortable. Part of Stamford Hospital group. Highly recommended.

Had to go there for a service and they were wonderful! The ladies running the radiology dept were so so kind and patient. Thank you!

Great staff, friendly and professional and very helpful. I've been going there since they opened their doors! Strongly recommend!
