I'm surprised to see free parking! I've been used to NHS hospitals requiring paid parking, so this was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of spaces: I visited midweek morning. Needed blood tests, so clinic A building to the left was easy to find and queuing system was straightforward grab a ticket, sit in the waiting room and wait for your number to be called. It was early morning so it wasn't particularly busy, only two people ahead of me. From start to finish it took 13 mins! Nice and friendly staff. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.
A sincere thank you for going above and beyond to help our son last night. We know how hard you all work and the hours you put in, so helping us at the last minute when it was time to spend time with your own families is truly appreciated. Amazing team, amazing service - a huge thank you!
Had to visit for minor injury, only had to wait for 2 hours which was well worth it. They were excellent helping me out and put my mind at rest as injury was ongoing. Many thanks.
Visited on a Thursday at 4.00pm for xrays. The car park was very busy yet xray quiet. I was in x rayed and out in 15mins. Kind supportive radiographers. Thank you
Couldn’t fault them got seen and x-rayed all during my lunch break! Massive thanks to Nurse Practitioner Dales for taking me seriously and getting me referred to the fracture clinic so quickly!
I had to attend the minor injuries on Thursday 31st March after a fall. I was greeted by a lady on reception who was very helpful and organised a wheelchair to take me to the minor injuries unit. On arrival there I was seen by Gerald who was exemplary with his care and treatment - Maggie was the NP and Nicola also came to my aid - all three were brilliant - thank you.
I have never had a big problem, staff friendly and helpful, usually get sorted quickly and efficiently.
I was a few minutes late for my appointment - I thought they would turn me away! But I was wrong .. After having an horrendous journey to the hospital and my satnav sending me to the wrong entrance and unable to find room to park my car - I was dreading speaking with reception! I really thought they would send me on my way! BUT they were fabulous - sorted me out and now I am a happy bunny - Thanks a million NHS and Thanks a million Stamford Hospital - You have made an old man very happy!
I called in Wednesday 4th May for a blood test. The waiting room chairs were all taken, and not "covid" spaced. Having to stand & wait in the porch way with other patients, we were instructed in no uncertain terms by a smallish woman in phlebotomy uniform, that this was an emergency exit & we all had to wait outside in the cold. As I am unable to stand for long I joined my wife in the car & went home. Will try another day.
Attended Greenwod Ward for a minor op today after a very quick referral. Lovely local hospital with very efficient and friendly staff and consultant. We are lucky to have this facility.
