Terrible place to buy furniture from. Spent over $1,000 on a reclining couch. I told the staff that I was nervous about buying due to having a large dog and they advised me to buy an additional protection plan in case he damaged it. Almost a year goes by and he ends up tearing the fabric in a few spots. They then told me that the protection plan only covers “cleaning” issues and that they would not repair or replace my couch OR refund the protection plan which is basically useless. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Bought a table from them. A little pricey, but good furniture and a friendly staff.

We just stopped in and waited outside for the store to open at 10. After five minutes no one unlocked the door. We just moved to the area from Florida and had planned for a day to come to Hartselle and look for furniture.
Keep looking. Do not waste your money or time. I speak from experience. The furniture could be of better quality. The customer service at the store location could definitely use improvement. Very untrustworthy. Although, a customer never should have to make contact with personnel in the home office. They were very helpful I must say. I am still not completely satisfied. But, it is something that I can live with and learn from. I will not be returning. If anyone ask me about Standard Furniture in Hartselle, Alabama. I will not hold back. Thank for a great lesson learned.

I didn't like the selection and half the time I went to look they were closed when their business hours listed them as open. On that note I know several people who love them and will not go else where
